  • Layover LAX to London Heathrow

Sacramento/LAX/Heathrow 95 minute layover. Is this enough time to get from Delta to Virgin Atlantic terminal and will it be enough time for our luggage to be transfered to Virgin Atlantic. Tickets bought through Delta which is partners with Virgin Atlantic on some oversea flights. Will Delta trasfer our luggage for us.

Yes, Delta will transfer your luggage and should issue both boarding passes in Sacramento. All you have to do is walk from T5 to the International Terminal and go through security. That should be plenty of time.

  • can you go from an american gate to united without boarding pass

I want to fly in on American but have a meeting in the united terminal - near gate 67. Can I walk directly to there or do I need a united boarding pass? Thanks

You need a United boarding pass. Those gates aren't connected inside security.

  • Assistance from West Jet arrival to Quantas

I am travelling from Calgary on West Jet , through Lax and then to Australia On Quantas. I have a 3 hour layover to do this.I don.t have a clue what the process is. is it clearly marked? I have one checked bag. Any help is appreciated!

Did you purchase your tickets separately or together? You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Calgary so your arrival in LAX will be like a domestic flight. If you purchased separate tickets you will claim your bags in T2, take them to the International Terminal (you can either walk or take a shuttle bus), then check in with Qantas and go through security to your gate. If you purchased your tickets together the process is the same except that your baggage will be transferred for you.

Thanks so much for your reply! You have reeassured me. I bought my tickets together through Expedia.

We are flying on United Airlines from La Guardia to Puerto Vallarta. Our layover in Houston is 49 minutes. Is that enough to switch terminals? Thanks!

YOu will arrive in C and depart from E. They are directly connected. That should be enough if your first flight is on-time.

Arrive from Pheonix @ terminal 1 at 2.45pm and will take off from Terminal 4 at 4.15 - is it enough ? what is the best way to change terminal ?

No flights from Phoenix arrive in Terminal 1. What airlines are you flying and where are you flying to?

good point. I will actually arrive with AF8864 at Terminal 4 at 2.45pm and will leave to Paris with AF023 taking off at 4.15pm from Terminal 1. Is it Ok and what is the best way to change terminal

Note that the first flight will be operated by Delta. Your bags will be transferred automatically. You will have to take the AirTrain from T4 to T1 and go through security. You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

  • Enough time?

My starting point is San Diegp arriving at JFK at 2:52 pm. International flight to Rome departs at 4:35 pm. I have checked lugguage. Is this enough time??

Were your tickets purchased together or separately? What airlines are you flying? I can't answer this question without that info.

Tickets purchased together through a tour group Globus. Flying Delta.

You should have enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate which will both likely be in Terminal 4. All Delta gates at JFK are connected inside security and to you don't go through US Customs when leaving the US.

We are booked to fly from Skopje (Macedonia non-Schengen) to Venice via FCO arriving 7.15am and leaving 8.25am. Are we able to check our luggage from Skopje to Venice? With Australian passports will there be enough time to transit (got through immigration etc) with only 1 hour 10 minutes? Thank you!

If you purchased your tickets together your bags will be sent straight to Venice. That should be enough time. Schengen passport control is pretty lax for passport holders from developed countries.

Thanks ZAP. Yes tickets are on one PNR. I also did some research and seems to be in and out of terminal 1 which of course makes it all easier too I imagine.

  • Connection to terminal E from B
    Mar 4, 2015

I am arriving at terminal B and my connecting flight is at terminal E. Can I take the terminallink to terminal C then walk to terminal E from terminal C?

The TerminaLink actually has a stop for D and E.

  • is two hours enough to connect?

I will be arriving to SFO at 8 am from an international flight, then I will have to connect to another flight to LAX that flies at 11 am. tickets were booked separately and are different airlines. now am I going to have enough time to catch up to my Lax plane? what about my bag, should I check in to SF and take it? are terminals far from each other? I'm really afraid that I will have to wait in the longest line to check in security.. what do you guys think?

I can't help you very much unless you tell me what airlines you are flying and where you're coming from.

  • Customs and Houston time

Will be flying to Belize City from Winnipeg Canada. Flying to Edmonton first. Do I go through customs in Edmonton? Will my luggage be checked through to Belize? From Edmonton I fly to Houston and then to Belize City. Coming home, I have a 1hr 47 min layover in Houston. Is this enough time? I will need to connect I think, terminal A for Calgary Canada.

You will go through US Immigration and customs in Edmonton. You will have to claim your luggage in Edmonton to go through preclearance and then won't touch it again until you get to Belize. You should have plenty of time in Houston. The TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security.

Thanks so much for your answer. No one I talked to seem to know.

  • Do I have enough time. I walk slow because of a back issue

I am taking a flight from Fort Wayne to Austin with a connecting flight in Dallas. Only a 46 minute layover. I need help getting to the tram and next gate. I don't think I can walk that fast to make the flight. What do I do?

Call American and request wheelchair service.

My son will be traveling in the unaccompanied minor program connecting through Detroit. He arrives on flight 4726 and has 40 minutes to get on flight 6292. Is that enough time?

That should be enough time if the first flight is on-time. It leaves very little time to spare if it is not.

  • Enough time to clear customs and transfer?
    Mar 3, 2015

On July 3, AF8702, arriving from Nice, AF 2958 departing for Seattle--will 2h 37m be enough time to clear customs and transfer?

Note that both flights will be operated by Delta and both will be in Terminal 4. You should have enough time.

  • Separate Flights on JetBlue in Boston - Security Check Still Required
    Mar 4, 2015
    2
I have a return JetBlue flight from Newark ending in BOS at 6:50pm and a new flight originating in BOS to Fort Meyers for a completely new trip at 7:55pm on the same day. Do I need to go back through security? Or could I be covered since I would have been checked coming back to Boston originally? (Could the Newark team check me for the BOS to RSW flight even though it's a different ticket?) Just trying to avoid security again if possible. Thanks.

You should be able to show both confirmations to the agent in Newark and have your bag checked through to RSW. If they don't you will have a hard time making that connection with a checked bag.

Thanks, ZAP. I'm not checking a bag so hopefully that should help.
