In June I will be 24 weeks pregnant with a 3 year old and a 1 year old. I'm connecting from South Bend to Fort Meyers and I have a 45 min layover, will I have time to make the connection without requesting help from a motorized cart?

Yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. All you have to do is take the plane train from your arrival concourse to your departure concourse. You unfortunately won't know your exact gates until the day of your flight.

My flight is at terminal N 9 and I will be coming in on a shuttle bus from Whidbey Island. My flight departs at 11:50 am May 19th. Alaska airline, but I am unable to get to the airport until 10:30 am have no bags to check and I will be printing my boarding pass before leaving home. Is this going to give me enough time to make my flight if all goes as planned.

Yes, that is plenty of time. Seattle only has one terminal. N is a satellite gate area, not a terminal. All you have to do when you arrive at the airport is go through security, and then if your flight is indeed departing from N (check the monitors or airline website as gates can change and Alaska operates out of 3 different gate areas), take the underground train to N.

    Thank you for the information.

I'm traveling from Dusseldorf to Newark (Terminal B). I land at 2:35PM. I need to catch a flight to Austin (Terminal C) at 5:28PM. Will I have enough time? (get to & through customs/immigration, get my bag, travel to Terminal C, check in, check my bag, get through security at Terminal C, get to my gate) Thanks.

THat should be enough time. if you purchased all your tickets on one reservation you will be able to re-check your bags at the transfer desk in Terminal B and not have to bring them on the AirTrain to Terminal C.

Arriving a Sunday at 1420 to Atlanta, will I connect with Delta 1505 to Amsterdam?

Do you mean you are arriving at 2:20 PM and departing at 3:05 PM? If so, yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time. All you have to do is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you will depart.

Arriving from Denver, departing to Frankfurt Germany. Will we make our flight (if 1st is on time?)

    (United Airlines)

Yes, you should have enough time if your first flight is on-time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 1.

I arrive in Terminal A via Delta at 7:50 pm and my virgib connection to London leaves 55 mins later. Is that enough time and how do I get from terminal A to International departures? Do I need to go through security again?>

A is not a Terminal, it is a concourse. All you have to do is take the Plane Train from your arrival concourse to concourse E or F where you will depart. You do not have to go through security. You have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

How do I get from usair arrival gate to usair flagstaff gate which is on a tarmac

You walk - all US Airways gates in Phoenix are connected inside security.

Thanks--but what I meant was, how far away was the connection--I use a cane and what I remember from a year ago-it was quite a walk from one connection to the next--and without knowing the gate # I was trying to decide if I need assistance--since I only have 20 min between arrival & departure of next flight

You only have 20 minutes? That would be difficult. You should call US Airways and request wheelchair service.

Thank you, I will do that! Would the electric cart be a faster alternative!

That is why I suggested wheelchair service. That is how you get taken in the cart.

    Thanks again for your help--

We are flying into DFW from Cancun then to MKE all through AA. our flight arrives at DFW at 8:08pm and leaves for MKE at 9:45pm on a Tuesday night. What process can I expect as far as custom and baggage claim, especially since I am traveling with an infant and 10 yr old. Is this a reasonable amount of time to connect with it being later at night? Thanks for your response.

Yes, that should be enough time. You will arrive in Terminal D, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags at the transfer desk, then go through security and take the SkyLink train to your departure terminal/gate.

Hi, we are leaving from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and connecting in Minneapolis to Orlando. We only have an hour layover, is is enough time for customs?

It's probably barely enough time. your flight will probably be the only one in immigration at that time so there shouldn't be any lines. It's definitely pushing what's possible though.

  • CTA-FCO, FCO-ATH - 2 separate Alitalia tickets

1st flight changed for later departure, now 12:00-13:20, 2nd flight 14:50-17:55 Would prefer not to check bags, but you never know... Will we have a problem with this transfer?

Without checked bags it should be easy, just check in for both flights online and walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 1. If you do want to check a bag you can likely show your second confirmation to the Alitalia agent in Catania and have your bags checked through to Athens.

  • connecting in seattle between San jose and Vancouver

Hi - both flights are with Delta, but only 40 min between landing in Seattle and the flight to Vancouver. Is this enough time? Given that we're flying to canada, can we check luggage at San Jose all the way through? If we have to re-check then am sure it wont be enough time. Can anyone advise please?

Yes, your baggage will go straight through to Vancouver. All you have to do in Seattle is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

thank you sir. is there any way of checking if Delta flights are all in the same terminal (ie in from SJC and out to YVR) - in which case u right shd be loads of time. Out of curiosity, would Delta be responsible if their first flight was delayed leading to missing 2nd flight? Sorry, total amateur here :-(

Seattle only has one terminal. The vast majority of Delta flights are in the S Satellite. All gates in Seattle are connected inside security. If you miss your connection Delta will rebook you on the next available flight to Vancouver (either on their own airline or on another airline if there is no flight of their own).

ZAP thank you so much. one last amateur qn if you know... checked baggage rates, will delta charge that for the trip (SJC-YVR) or by individual flight (SJC-SEA and SEA-YVR)... its amazing how these costs rack up :-(

Hi All - I arrive at Terminal 1 with Southwest on Friday at 4 pm and I have a separate flight at TBIT at 7 pm with Turkish airline. Do I have enough time to get my luggage and check back in ? also, is shuttle or walking the faster around that time?

That should be enough time if your Southwest flight is on-time. It will be fastest to walk.

    Thank you.

Arriving Thursday from Miami on KLM kl2747@12:30,with checked baggage. Will I have enough time to board Alitalia az1475 terminal 1 @14:30? Thanks

Note that both flights will be operated by Alitalia. You should have plenty of time for your transfer. All you have to do is go through Schengen Passport Control and then walk to your departure gate.

I booked two separate tickets for this trip, I think I will have to pick up my luggage then bring to terminal one. Will there still be time? Is there a way to have Alitalia transfer my baggage? Thank you for helping ,it is greatly appreciated. Thanks robbiemk

You can show your second Alitalia confirmation to the agent in Miami and they should be able to check your bags through to your final destination.

Thank you ! You made the unknown known. My life is easier because of YOU! THANKS
