Is 50 mins enough time to get from the INTL terminal( on a domestic flight) and Terminal 3, Concourse F? How long will it take to walk (run) and do I have to go thru security again?

There is a walkway between the International Terminal and Terminal 3 inside security. You should have plenty of time if your first flight is on-time.

we arrive on 10/24 to terminal 2e. We then must go to terminal 2f to connect with our Rome flight. I understand that our bags are checked thru to Rome. So....we can walk to 2f..correct? And how long would this take? Is this the best mode to get there? We have only 1 hr between flights. I understand we also have to go thru passport security...how long will this generally take? Thank you...after reading so many comments online..it sounds scarey!

Is 37 minutes enough time to change from one United domestic flight to another in Terminal 3? If my plane is 10 minutes late, is 27 minutes enough?

Yes, both of those should be enough time.

I arrive at HIA from Tucson at 7:58 PM via United Airlines (Express Jet) and depart to London at 9:00 PM via United Airlines. Is it enough time to change planes? are the terminal close?

You will arrive in Terminal B and depart from Terminal E. All Terminals are connected inside security by the TerminaLink train. You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

Hello there. I will be flying from Montreal to Rio via Atlanta. Does anyone know if the DL YUL-ATL flight arrives in the international terminal? I have a 2 hour layover and I want to know if that is enough time (given possible weather delays). I'm assuming if I clear customs (if needed) in YUL then I should be able to get to my DL ATL-GIG flight pretty easily? Any advice appreciated!

You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Montreal. YUL-ATL flights do arrive in the International Terminal even though you won't have to go through US Immigration upon arrival in ATL. You should have plenty of time for your connection.

On your trip to NY if both flights are on Alitalia you won't have to do anything in Rome except perhaps go through security. You have enough time for both connections.

I am arriving in PHX on US Airways and departing on United with a 1 hr 30 min layover. Will I need to exit the secure area to change airlines ? Will I have enough time to do so ?

Yes, you will, United uses a different terminal from US Airways. 1 hr 30 mins should be enough time but doesn't leave much time to spare.

We fly Into AMS from MInneapolis, USA on Delta and connect to another Delta flight on to Rome. Will we need to collect baggage or will it be transferred to next flight for us? Will we go thru passport control or customs? Thanks!

Your flight to Rome will be operated by Alitalia or KLM, not Delta. You will not have to do anything with your baggage. You will go through passport control when you enter the Schengen Pier of the terminal.

  • Connecting from Cancun to Narita

Hi, I am heading from CanCun to Narita on UA1011 and connecting on UA7 to narita both arriving and departing on TE with 1hr 23min connecting time. Is that enough to get through checkin and customs?

That is 7 minutes below the minimum connection time for such a connection. You will probably have enough time but there really isn't any room to spare for delays.

Do i have to go through immigration and customs if I am travelling on the same carrier UA throughout?

Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration and US Customs and security. However, you may not have to claim your baggage and re-check it as some International->International bags connecting at IAH can be checked straight through. You will have to ask the airline about that.

What airline are you flying from Detroit? Did you purchase two tickets separately or did you purchase one ticket from Detroit to Abu Dhabi.

  • Is 40 mins connection at ORD enough?

Flying FLL to ORD and then 40 mins later on to LHR, all AA flights. Will I make it? Same terminal I think but I am at the back of the plane, which will not help.

If your first flight is on-time you will be OK, but yes, you are right, not much time to spare for delays.

Thanks- will get my running gear on...

I am flying from CLT to ATL, arriving Concourse A, then connecting to an intl flight on Concourse E. If the CLT flight is on time I have 50 min. to connect. I have been tracking it and it is late more than it is on time. Just how much time do I need to get from A to E?

It will take about 15 minutes to get from A to E on the Plane Train.

How do I get from terminal 4 to terminal 3?

Washington Dulles does not have a Terminal 3 or Terminal 4. It only has one Terminal.
