I'm flying from CRW charleston wv to IAD. Arriving at 11:34. My connection to Chicago is at 12:14. Will I have enough time to make my connection? Which Concourse will I arrive and leave out of. Flying united airlines.

You will probably arrive in concourse A or D and depart from concourse C or D. C and D are just two sides of the same building. A is connected to C and D by the mobile lounge and aerotrain. You have enough time if your flight from CRW is on-time.

Hi, I am travelling from London with a stopover in Seattle to Fairbanks. I will be travelling on BA to Seattle and then onto Alaska Airlines. It was booked on 1 ticket. Is this enough time? Thank you

Yes, that should be plenty of time.

Zap, thank you for the feedback - I appreciate your quick response.

Arrive on LH6911 at 8.25 (bus transfer) B1 - departure LH6676 9.20 probably B42 or B45. I have both flights on one ticket. Is there enough time?

Please note that LH6911 is actually Adria flight 116 and LH6676 is actually Air Canada flight 873. This is a difficult transfer but should be possible. It is helped by not entering the Schengen Area and thus not having to go through passport control.

I've to get a connecting flight to Portland, is 1 hour 25 minutes enough time?

Yes, in Seattle you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US customs. if you purchased your tickets on one reservation you can then re-check your bags at the transfer desk, go through security, and go to your departure gate. You should barely have enough time. if you purchased two separate tickets you will not have enough time.

arriving into JFK with Cathay Pacific into Terminal 4 After picking up my luggage, how to I get from Terminal 4 to Delta Airlines at Terminal 7?

You have your terminals backwards. Cathay arrives in Terminal 7 and Delta uses Terminal 2 and 4. Regardless, all terminals are connected outside security by the AirTrain.

Our son arrives at 7am and no checked luggage. We will be at Hawaain air waiting to leave at 9am. Can we get his boarding pass and meet him at gate for Hawaiin air? Can he take train over and not have to go through security again?

What airport? Is his first flight international or domestic?

    domestic

What airline is he flying to LAS on?

    southwest from Ontario CA.

It's theoretically possible to take the train from the C gates to the D gates and then the D gates to the E gates where you depart, but it's not a marked route. If his flight is on-time he has enough time to take the shuttle between Terminals and go through security in Terminal 3. But he will need his boarding pass.

    Thank you

  • Is 1h20 enough time to get from T5 to T2?

I'm flying from London and it says my flight gets in at T5 and my connecting flight to Cincinnati is going from T2, an hour and 20 min lay over is that enough time to transfer. I've never had to get a connecting flight before and I'm British so does not being American gonna slow me down to get my connecting flight? Thanks

Is this at JFK? No flights from London arrive in Terminal 5. If you are flying Delta you will both arrive and depart from Terminal 4. 80 minutes is 10 minutes below the minimum recommended time for that connection. It's possible but very difficult.

No it's Chicago and it's with Unites

Oh, OK. Well 1 hr 20 minutes is possible but it's equally hard. You will have to take the AirTrain from T5 to T2 after you re-check your bags. Also take note that your flight to CVG may actually depart from T1, so check the monitors.

What airport? Were tickets purchased separately or on one reservation?

Both flights will be in Terminal 1. Yes, you will have to go through Canadian Immigration upon arrival in Toronto.

I'm flying from Athens to Madrid via Rome FCO with Alitalia. Can I make it with 45 mins between the connecting flights? I guess, both flight should operated in the terminal 1, although I'm not completely sure. What happens if I miss the connecting flight due to a delay in my first flight? Will Alitalia put me in the next available flight?

Yes, both are in Terminal 1 and since Greece, Italy, and Spain are all in the Schengen area you won't have to go through passport control. All you have to do in Rome is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Yes, if you miss your connection you will be put on the next available Alitalia flight to Madrid.

HI I am flying from SLC to CDG (france) with a 1 hour layover in SFO with one checked item. Do I have enough time? Do I have to go through security and get my checked item? Or is my checked item going directly from SLC to CDG? I'm french by the way.

Your bags will be checked through if you purchased your tickets all on one reservation. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You may have to go through security.

I can help you more if you post what airlines you are flying.

    I'm flying,with united

Then you won't have to go through security. You just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. All United gates at SFO are connected inside security.

So will I have enough time to catch my flight?

Yes, you should have plenty of time.

I am looking at flying to San Francisco from Las Vegas via JetBlue which is scheduled to land at SFO at 21:32, and my international flight from San Francisco to Singapore via Singapore Airlines is at 00:05. Will I have enough time to collect my baggage and check in for my flight to Singapore? If JetBlue lands on time, I should have approximately 2 hrs 30 mins.

Yes, that should barely be enough time.

HI, I booked a flight from London to Miami and then connecting flight to Orlando. All flights are with American Airlines and under same reservation. The layover at Miami is 3 hours and 20 minutes. Do I need to claim and recheck my baggage at Miami and go through security? If so, is 3 hours enough to do so? I arrive in the evening at 8.30 p.m. thanks, Lis

Yes, in Miami, you will arrive, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags at the transfer desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. You have plenty of time.

Hi, I am flying from Orlando Int. airport in April to London via JFK. I have a 1hr and 22 mins layover at JFK. Flight arrives at JFK at 21.03 (T8) and departs to London at 22:25 (T8). I purhcased my tickets at the same time (under same reservation no) and both flights are with American Airlines. Is this enough time to make the connection? Also do I need to claim and re-check my luggage at JFK? Do I have to co security at JFK? Thanks.

All you have to do in JFK is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You do not go through US Immigration when leaving the US.

So, my luggage is transferred automatically by the airline from Orlando flight to London flight. I don't know how big is terminal 8 but I'm guessing 1 hr 22 mins is plenty of time? Thanks, Lis

Terminal 8 isn't that big. While JFK is a big airport each terminal is fairly small. Yes, you should have plenty of time and yes your baggage is transferred automatically.

    Thank you.
