  • 38 minute layover

I am considering flying to OKC from CLE with a 38 minute layover at ORD. Both are united flights purchased together. Is this enough time if I have checked baggage?

Yes, it is enough time but obviously leaves very little time to spare in case your first flight is delayed.

Flying into SFO from Reno in July via United and wonder if 1 hour is enough time to make AirCanada flight to Toronto?

Yes, that should be enough time. Any checked bags would be transferred and you just have to walk from Terminal 3 where you arrive to International concourse G where you will depart. They are connected inside security by a walkway.

  • Transfer time SK925 to UA3433 (with kids)

We are arriving on Friday 27th of February with SK925 at 3:15pm and would need to continue with flight UA3433 at 5.04pm to BNA. Is 1h49min enough for the transfer? With immigration, customs, etc. And we are travelling with three kids. All help is appreciated. Thanks,

Yes, that should be enough time. You will arrive in the International Arrivals building, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the transfer desk, then go through security and then take the Aerotrain to your departure gate concourse (A, C, or D).

Hi, our flight lands at LAX Terminal 5 at 16.15 via Delta from Las Vegas, and our connecting flight with Virgin is at 17.50 from Terminal 2. This leaves an hour and 35 minutes. Will we have enough time to make this flight and will our luggage be transferred? We purchased all together.

If you purchased your tickets together your baggage will be transferred. All you have to do is walk from T5 to T2 (fastest route is by walking straight across the parking decks) then go through security.

Hi all I will be arriving at MIA at 6:51 am from LAX via Delta which is at Terminal H in the North Concourse and have to collect my luggage and get over to Terminal D for my 11:50 AA flight to Port au Prince. Hope that I can get my luggage and over to terminal D in an hour leaving me with roughly 2 hours to check in for my flight to Port au Prince. Do you think thats a reasonable connection? many thanks!

Yes, you should have plenty of time.

Jan 29th FLT UA 1447 from Cgy to Houston and then connection FLT UA1599 to RSW/No Fort Myers ( 1 hr 19mins connecting time ). What terminals do we arrive in and then depart from and do we have to rush to make connection ? thx

You will likely both arrive and depart in C. You will have plenty of time if your first flight is on-time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Calgary.

    Thanks for the info !!!

Arriving in terminal 5 (Jetblue) with a connecting flight to Orlando (also terminal 5 Jetblue). Layover is 35 minutes. Have never done a connecting flight before, what can I expect?

All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You will have enough time if your first flight is on-time but delays at JFK are unfortunately common. If you miss your connection you will be rebooked on the next flight to Orlando.

Thank you. We typically fly direct, but prices are high, so I am considering a connecting flight...Having a) never done this before and b) never been to JFK...feeling a little intimidated (did I mention I"m flying solo with 2 kids!)

  • Enough time & how far apart are the gates?

We are seniors so I cannot run. Our United Express flight UA5237K lands at 10:40 am. Our connecting flight UA4984K to McAllen leaves at 11:28 am. How far apart are the gates and will we have problems getting to it on time?

Both flights will likely be in Terminal B. You should have plenty of time if your first flight is on-time.

Between my flight from Amsterdam and the flight to Los Angeles is one hour. Will this ne enough? FlightTrack are without Deltacomputg/KLM. Thanks

That will be very difficult. While the Immigration hall at PDX is not heavily used and PDX is not a large airport. You will really have to hurry.

Hi, I'm flying from Denver to SFO on United then to Dublin on Aer Lingus...the current flight has a layover just under 2 hours. Is this enough time? Will I need to recheck my bags since it's a different airline? Thanks!

If you purchased your tickets together your bags will be transferred automatically and you only have to walk from your arrival gate in Terminal 3 to your departure gate in the G concourse of the International terminal. There is a walkway connecting the two inside security.

I am flying into Houston on United and have a 45 minute layover to catch my next flight to Orlando. We have 4 adults and 2 infants (1.5 years old). Will we have enough time to make it? Do you have any tips?

The TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security. You have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

Hi, I'm flying from Vancouver to Hong Kong and need to transfer flight from SFO (by Air Canada to arrive at Terminal I at 10:17, by United Airline to depart at Terminal I 12:50). Do I need to check baggage again?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. If you booked your tickets together you should not have to claim your bags in SFO - just walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

If I were to fly from the Kansas City (MCI) airport to Houston (IAH), and have a 48 minute layover in IAH before my connecting flight leaves IAH for the Panama-Tocumen airport, would that 48 minute layover give me enough time to get to Terminal E? I understand I would not need to recheck my baggage during my layover....so 48 minutes should be enough time for me to make through all the security checkpoints and over to Terminal E, correct? Just want to make sure before switching my flight to this option! Thanks!

There are no security checkpoints. The TerminaLink train connects all terminals inside security. All you would have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You would have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

  • Terminal 2 to 8, Run, walk or take the bus?

Leaving YVR at 20:15 and arriving LAX at 23:15-23:30. Baggage is checked through, flight is pre-cleared. I have one ticket with United from YVR to PTY with a connecting flight through IAH. Found out I am on a codeshare flight with Air Canada as the operator. This means terminal 2 to 8. If I run through the parking lot, is it easy and safe at this late hour.

Sorry, my flight from LAX to IAH is at 12:45 am. Many thanks.

Yes, cut through the parking garage and if your first flight is on-time you can make it. It's very safe. Note that your flight to IAH will probably leave from Terminal 7 and the entrance to all United gates is in Terminal 7.

I have a flight from Vienna to Chicago through LHR. Arriving at terminal 3, departing from T5. What do i have to do to get on the right flight? do i have to go through security or UK immigration, or claim and re-check my baggage?

DId you buy your tickets separately or together? What airlines are you flying?

I bought them together, and its british airlines to london and then american airlines to chicago

You have the terminals reversed. You will arrive in T5 and depart from T3. There is a bus that will take you from T5 to T3. You will go through security in T3 and if you need to get your AA boarding passes you can get them at that time as well.

Actually I double checked and both flights should be in Terminal 3. your connection will be quite easy.

Tkanks a lot, i've already checked-in online and i definitely arrive in T3 (BA) and depart from T5 (AA). But thanks anyway, i wasn't sure in which term. i go thru security..
