tel aviv through Rome to New York all in T3. I have 1 hour. is it suffucuent? need to go to security? collect baggage? Return again but need to go from T3 to T1 in 2 hours. possiable? thanks

On your trip to NY if both flights are on Alitalia you won't have to do anything in Rome except perhaps go through security. You have enough time for both connections.

I am arriving in PHX on US Airways and departing on United with a 1 hr 30 min layover. Will I need to exit the secure area to change airlines ? Will I have enough time to do so ?

Yes, you will, United uses a different terminal from US Airways. 1 hr 30 mins should be enough time but doesn't leave much time to spare.

We fly Into AMS from MInneapolis, USA on Delta and connect to another Delta flight on to Rome. Will we need to collect baggage or will it be transferred to next flight for us? Will we go thru passport control or customs? Thanks!

Your flight to Rome will be operated by Alitalia or KLM, not Delta. You will not have to do anything with your baggage. You will go through passport control when you enter the Schengen Pier of the terminal.

  • Connecting from Cancun to Narita

Hi, I am heading from CanCun to Narita on UA1011 and connecting on UA7 to narita both arriving and departing on TE with 1hr 23min connecting time. Is that enough to get through checkin and customs?

That is 7 minutes below the minimum connection time for such a connection. You will probably have enough time but there really isn't any room to spare for delays.

Do i have to go through immigration and customs if I am travelling on the same carrier UA throughout?

Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration and US Customs and security. However, you may not have to claim your baggage and re-check it as some International->International bags connecting at IAH can be checked straight through. You will have to ask the airline about that.

What airline are you flying from Detroit? Did you purchase two tickets separately or did you purchase one ticket from Detroit to Abu Dhabi.

  • Is 40 mins connection at ORD enough?

Flying FLL to ORD and then 40 mins later on to LHR, all AA flights. Will I make it? Same terminal I think but I am at the back of the plane, which will not help.

If your first flight is on-time you will be OK, but yes, you are right, not much time to spare for delays.

Thanks- will get my running gear on...

  • Layover of 50 min or less

I am flying from CLT to ATL, arriving Concourse A, then connecting to an intl flight on Concourse E. If the CLT flight is on time I have 50 min. to connect. I have been tracking it and it is late more than it is on time. Just how much time do I need to get from A to E?

It will take about 15 minutes to get from A to E on the Plane Train.

How do I get from terminal 4 to terminal 3?

Washington Dulles does not have a Terminal 3 or Terminal 4. It only has one Terminal.

  • Connection time to Seoul

I've been notified that my flight schedule was changed. The AA flight from Baton Rouge, Louisiana (BTR) will arrive DFW at 9:15 am. The next AA flight from Dallas (DFW) to Seoul (ICN) is 10:15 am. Do I (and my checked in baggages) have enough time to board on the flight to Seoul? Do I have to pick up my baggages and have them go through the security screen again at Dallas?

All you have to do in DFW is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, nothing with your luggage or security. The SkyLink train connects all terminals inside security. An hour should be enough time.

  • Connection - is there enough time?

Hi I'm flying from LHR - MCO with a stop over of 1hr 20 in IAD. I've booked the flights together through expedia and its all flying with United. Do I have enough time to make the connecting flight?

That is 10 minutes below the minimum connection time for International->Domestic at IAD. However, you have a good chance of making it since United has its own immigration and customs facility in the basement of its concourse.

I am flying in from Toronto on Air Canada arriving at 8:35 am and have 1 hour layover. Catching American Eagle flight to St Louis at Terminal : T3 Gate : L6A . Do I have enough time to make this connection

Air Canada flights arrive in Terminal 2. Even if you are in fact on a United flight that arrives in Terminal 1, all three terminals are connected by walkways inside security. You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time. Be sure to check-in online for your AA flight before you leave Toronto.

  • Terminal 7 to Terminal B

I am arriving from Las Vegas by UA529/LH9409 at 14:49 terminal 7 & want to catch flight to Frankfurt LH 457 at 16:20 from terminal B. Is the layover time enough to make this connection. I have single PNR so can I have through check-in from Las Vegas without collecting my baggage at Los Angeles and catch my flight to Frankfurt.

Yes, that should be enough time - you will just have to walk from T7 to the TBIT and go through security. It should take about 20 minutes to do that walk.

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

  • How to get to main terminal from bagage claim
    Oct 13, 2014

We will arrive at SeaTac next week on AS at 1:40PM and then will need to claim luggage at baggage claim. We will then need to get to the main terminal to check in with Icelandair for a 4:30PM international flight. I would sure appreciate specific information on how to get from baggage claim to the Icelandair counter which I assume is in the main terminal? Is there an elevator we can use for this process? Are the floors clearly marked? We are from a small rural town and large airports make us very nervous. Thanks for any help.

The Domestic baggage claims and All Check-In Counters are in the same building. Yes, there will be an elevator between floors.

I am trying to verify whether 1:20 is sufficient time for a connection from Washington National through CLT to Rome Fiumicino. How much time is necessary for a nonUS citizen to clear immigration and change flights?

You do not go through US Immigration when leaving the US. All you have to do in Charlotte is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have plenty of time.
