    You arrive at Terminal A and need to take the above-ground TerminaLink train (follow signs), at the Terminal A station, connecting to Terminal C inside security. On arrival there, follow signs to the gateway to gates C43-C45

  • Changing airlines & connecting flights

    We will be arriving from Hawaii through Phoenix on US Air & then leaving on SW for Orlando. We have a little over an hour & a half between arrival and departure. Will we have to get luggage, re-check it and go through security again? Or, is there a way to get the luggage transferred between airlines?

    If flights are on one ticket, bags will most likely be transferred. To be sure, check with US Airways.

  • Connection time - United - Icelandair

    Hi, I'm flying to Iceland and have a layover in Boston. My United flight has a changed schedule and arrives at 12:54pm at terminal A and my Icelandair flight departs at 2:35pm from terminal E. Can I make this connection?

    YYZ has two terminals -T1 with Concourses/Piers D, E & F, and T3 with Concourses A, B & C - connected by the automated LINK train. Best place to meet is in the Arrivals Hall, in front of the information counter (pre-security).

  • computer systems down at Customs Border

    Why does the Customs Border Patrol have unreliable computer systems and have no backup? I connected through LAX last week and almost missed my connecting flight because CBP computers went down and Customs held the passengers in a hallway and refused to process most passengers. The Customs computer systems are mission critical and need a hot failover backup system so that passengers can be processed without interruption. My taxes should be better used to help travelers get through LAX faster, not wasteful government spending.

    You can try to call the Port Authority Police Lost and Found Custodian at (973) 961-6243, but don't expect that anyone will pick up the phone.

    That depends on which airport you arrive at. Usually it's one level below check-in, but smaller airports divide ground level into check-in and baggage claim areas.

    I have 1hr.25 mins. to connect. Arriving from the US on Lufthansa 7600 connecting by Lufthansa 110 to Munich. Is this enough time and best way to do the connection .thanks

    At Munich Airport, both United & Lufthansa use Terminal 2. On arrival you go through non-Schengen passport control, security screening & immigration service in 30-45 mins. Thereafter you may need to go through security check again, and proceed to your gates: T2's gates (right to left): A1-A34, B1-B17, C1-C10 & D1-D23.

    I am arriving on 5/26/13 flight 1267,terminal B. I leave on flight 4138 terminal C at 1:46pm. Will we make the flight. How can I find out which way to go when we get off the 1st plane,so that we are heading in the right direction for the 2nd flight?

    What airport are you talking about? Are you flying United at IAH? You might have your terminals backwards, United 1267 would arrive in C or E and 4138 would likely depart from B. Or are you talking about EWR?

    At EWR, If you lost an item in the gate area or onboard, contact your airline. If your item is lost at the TSA Security Check Point, call TSA at (908) 787-0667. If you lost baggage at other area, call the Port Authority Police Lost and Found Custodian at (973) 961-6243.
