Going to SydneyMay 3, 201310My wife and I will be flying in on United from Baltimore and arrive at LAX at 8:30 PM. The connecting flight on United leaves for Sydney at 10:10 PM. Flying from Austin-IAH-SJO (Costa Rica)May 2, 201320My family is flying from Austin to Costa Rica, but we go through IAH both ways. I see lots of helpful advice about understanding that we must clear customs in Houston on the way back. Does anyone know if we have to clear customs in Houston on our way TO Costa Rica, from Austin? Can we not clear customs in Austin and then not worry about having to re-check out bags in Houston on our way to Costa Rica? Thanks!***posted on Thu, May 2No, the only time you will go through any immigration on the way TO Costa Rica is when you get to Costa Rica. In IAH on the way there you will just have to go from your arriving gate to your departing gate - you won't have to do anything with your bags.ZAPposted on Thu, May 2

From Jefferson bus to Delta check inApr 29, 201310MSP has 2 terminals T1 Lindbergh & T2 Humphrey. The Jefferson Lines scheduled bus (visit: jeffersonlines.com) stop at the Lindbergh Terminal's Transit Center. Then take the tram and arrive at the Lindbergh Terminal's Tram Level; then proceed to the departures level. (Open skywest.com) Uniitd Airlines are listed in Terminals 3 & International Terminal. Contact United Express as to whether they have curbside service. immigration & customsApr 23, 201310As a visitor, how long will it take to get thru immigration. The flight arrives from England at 11:50 and the connecting flight leaves for Albany NY at 13:29. Will the bags go right thru to Albany or do we have to collect them after immigration and go thru customs? Will we have enough time to make the connecting flight?JPposted on Tue, Apr 23Any time you enter the U.S. you have to collect your baggage in immigration and re-check it after clearing customs. I can't figure out where your connection is but you will probably have enough time. If it's a Skywest United Express flight it will still be going from United's terminals - In this case it would actually leave from Terminal 8 but you'd go through security in Terminal 7. Connecting flights enough time?Apr 20, 201320If I fly from OKC to DEN on Frontier airlines flight 1185 and arrive at 14:02 and then fly from DEN to SFO on United airlines flight 644 leaving at 15:49. If I book the flights seperately will I have to claim my baggage at DEN and then re check in for my second flight or can I get it transferred automatically to my final destination of SFO. Also is this enough transfer time?JCposted on Fri, Apr 19Booking separate flights will require you to get your bags on arrival and check them in with your connecting airline at the main Jeppeson terminal's level 6. Frontier will arrive in separate Concourse building A, while United uses separate Concourse building B. On arrival, you can take the AGTS train to the main Terminal. changing terminals for connecting flightApr 10, 201310I am looking at a flight from LAX to HNL. We would arrive on Alaska Airline and need to get to Terminal 4 for AA. It is a connecting flight and our luggage would be transferred. Layover time is 1hr 45mins on a Monday morning (10AM.) Is this doable? I understand there is a shuttle for terminal transfers, would you suggest that or should we walk? We would just have carry-on totes.
