My United flight has a changed schedule and arrives at 12:54pm at terminal A and my Icelandair flight departs at 2:35pm from terminal E. computer systems down at Customs BorderMay 19, 201300Why does the Customs Border Patrol have unreliable computer systems and have no backup? I connected through LAX last week and almost missed my connecting flight because CBP computers went down and Customs held the passengers in a hallway and refused to process most passengers. The Customs computer systems are mission critical and need a hot failover backup system so that passengers can be processed without interruption. My taxes should be better used to help travelers get through LAX faster, not wasteful government spending.travelerposted on Sun, May 19

Security checkpointMay 9, 201310I have a meeting on Dearborn in Chicago and am getting picked up at 2pm. My flight is at 3:55 in Terminal 3 in the L wing. I'm praying it doesn't take more than an hour to get to the airport. What do security lines look like around 3pm in that area?
