Lost IpadJan 8, 201210My wife lost her Ipad (Black leather case) on Friday-Jan 6th. Please email if found amkmag@mchsi.comtonykposted on Sat, Jan 71. These are ORD's Lost & Found rules: "If you lost an item near ticket counters, gate areas or on your airplane, contact your airline. 2. If you lost an item at the security checkpoint, contact TSA at 773-377-1210. 3. If you lost an item in the parking facility, contact Standard Parking at 773-686-7532. 4. If you lost an item in the public areas of the terminal, contact the Chicago Police at 773-686-2385. 5. If you lost an item on the Airport Transit System, contact OATS at 773-601-1817. 6. If you lost an item at a food & drink establishment, call 773-686-6148." HOWEVER, I hear from travelers that telephones are on automatic and they can't get a live person. My suggestion would be to e-mail aviation@flychicago.com -maybe you have more success.MUCposted on Sun, Jan 8

Curbside AssistanceJan 23, 201221My Mother is going to be relocating to Hawaii and she will be taking her two dogs and several suit cases. Would skycaps be available to assist her? Thank you.Heleneposted on Sat, Jan 71 person likes this post [ Like ]1. As to dogs - open www.ifly.com, scroll down to "Traveler Help", under Traveler Tips click on "Traveling with Pets". 2. as to baggage: Most of the Airlines charge for the first two bags (under 50 kg) and for oversize and overweight. She might want to consider shipping them via Airfreight out of LAX, which makes it cheaper. 3. Not sure but assume that Skycaps are available, as they are in large Airports.MUCposted on Sat, Jan 7Hi, I am flying into LAX, Terminal 3 and connecting to a flight in Terminal 1 and I don't have very much time between flights. Is there a "people mover" or some other quick way, without leaving the secured area, to get from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 at LAX?JMHposted on Mon, Jan 23

Lost Rings ORD, United TerminalJan 5, 201210Sadly I lost two rings while going through securtiy at OHare. I had them packed in my daughter's nebulizer box (breathing machine for asthma). The TSA employee took the machine out and put it back through the xray machine. I never saw the rings again. Unfortunately I didn't think to check right away as I had just stood in line with my two kids for more than an hour. At that point I was only thinking about getting their shoes on. I called lost and found and after several messages and phone calls I finally talked to someone who said they were never found. One ring was my engagement ring and the other my grandfather's pinky ring. Engagement ring was platinum and the other ring was gold with an apricot colored stone. The stone had a prayer engraved in it. Can't stop thinking about them....LostRingposted on Thu, Jan 5

some electric outlets not working at A2Jan 4, 201200I flew out of Columbus on Jan 2nd, 2012. My flight was out of gate A2 at lunchtime. I plugged into one of the power outlets at the window wall seating nearest the security checkpoint. Power was not available at the chair outlets. I think the power plug feeding the seat outlets was not making good contact with the wall outlet as the plug was not fully inserted into the wall outlet. The weight and strain of the cord and the straight out plug orientation were pulling the plug out of the wall outlet. I think that a right angle plug would work better in this location. Thanks for trying and better luck next time.kmmanthoposted on Wed, Jan 4
