Thank you for that information. Question, how will I be able to call them and is someone there to answer the cell phone if I call, what number do I call??? Asking about the cell phone lot to meet someone.

Your friend waits in the cell phone lot with their Cell Phone. You call them with your cell phone when you're ready to be picked up and then they come and get you. If either of you doesn't have a cell phone, obviously, this doesn't work.

Can anyone suggest a good place to have someone meet me at the airport. This is my first time to MCO, so not familiar with how it is laid out. Someone is to pick me up when I arrive late afternoon.

Probably the easiest procedure for someone picking you up would be for them to wait in the Cell Phone Lot and then come to the curb when you call them. http://www.orlandoairports.net/mobile/gt/cellphone_map.htm

  • Meeting my family at international terminal

Hi, I am meeting my family at the international terminal after they clear custom; they are flying Delta. I am arriving at the domestic terminal with Delta. How easy is it to get from the domestic terminal to the international arrivals exit point?

Delta is using the new Terminal 4 for its international flights & domestic flights to/from SFO, LAX & SEA airports. Delta Shuttle bus service from gate to gate (no security check necessary) will be available between T2 & T4 - add about 12 minutes. Meet them at the Arrivals level of T4 - in front of the Information counter. Presently, its Arrivals level is separate, connected by 2 walkways to the concourse level and housing Customs clearance, baggage claim, & Information counter.

we`re changing from a domestic flight on to an international flight. we have 1.15 hours. do we have to collect our Luggage and bring it somewhere else?

Are both of your flights on Delta and booked on the same reservation? If so you will not have to do anything with your baggage in Detroit.

yes, both delta flights and booked on the same reservation. but I checked the delta website and it said you allways have to collect your Luggage. so now I`m not sure. I dont want it left behind

When going International -> Domestic you have to claim your baggage. When going Domestic -> International you do not, and in fact, cannot as the baggage will be transfered automatically.

  • Transferring from An International Flight to a Domentic Flight

We are on a Delta flight from LHR arriving Atlanta at 7:00 pm. Originally the connecting Delta flight to San Diego departed Atlanta at 9:50 pm (2 hr 50 min layover). Yesterday I received an e-mail from Delta that the time of the departing flight to San Diego had been changed to 8:30 pm (1 hr 30 min layover). We plan to just have one carryon each. Is this enough time to get through immigration, customs and to the departing flight. Right now I don't find any other later flights on Delta to San Diego. Also, even though I have requested a wheelchair in the past, this time I did not because we had such a long layover. I am not able to run or jog through the airport. Will the wheelchair help to speed things up or not. Sometimes I have had to wait so long for a wheelchair that I give up and just start walking even though it can be difficult and slow if the walk is long. Most grateful for any advice you can give us.

It should be enough time. Immigration shouldn't be too busy that late and you'll be helped by not having any checked bags. I have no insight onto whether wheelchair service will help or not.

  • Port Authority Police at Newark - where?

Where is the port authority police station at EWR? My husband lost a bag; the police found it and have it at their station. It's pretty important that he retrieve this bag, but we can't find the police station on any map of the airport. Hubby is not blind but he is visually impaired. It's unlikely that he will be able to read any of the maps posted in the airport. So if anyone can give me an idea where he can find the police station, he'll be more prepared when he arrives. Thanks!

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey provides each of their Airports with Airport Police. See: http://www.panynj.gov/police/lost-found.html - however, EWR has no telephone quoted and the URL does not work. (tried both http:// and www. before it.) Call the Port Authority Police Lost and Found Custodian at (973) 961-6243.

  • transfer at jfk

hello, im flying from tel aviv to san fracisco via jfk. I have 1.5 hour between flight, both on t4. Is it enough time? what do i do with the luggage? Thank you!

It will be very tough to make it in that time. You will have to claim your luggage in Immigration. If your flights were bought on one ticket, then you will be able to drop off your bags after customs, but if you bought them on two separate tickets you will have to go upstairs to the check in counter of your second airline and check them, at which point it will probably be too late to do so.

If both flight are on delta?

If both are on Delta then yeah, you won't have to take your bags upstairs - you can just drop them at the Delta re-check counter. It still might be tight though - sometimes waits at immigration can be long, however since your Tel Aviv flight arrives at 5:15 AM it shouldn't be too crowded.

I am flying from Miami to JFK with American Airlines. I only have an hour an ten minutes overlay in JFK before my flight to Heathrow. Can i make it? I know i have to go through customs and security.

AA uses Terminal 8, which has Concourses B & C. (Concourse B with gate 1-16, while near its gate 14 is access to Concourse C with gates 31-47.) Your boarding pass & the overhead screens will show flight & gate numbers. Hurry!

You will not have to go through any customs or security on your way to London. You just have to go from gate to gate. If your first flight is on-time you'll have plenty of time.

I was booked for July 18 American Airlines flight 2821 bound for Chicago O'Hare airport. What terminal does AA use at ORD after it arrived from Memphis international airport.

American uses Terminal 3 at ORD. Specifically, that flight will arrive in Concourse G.

Hello All,I need your help on my up coming arrival at JFK Terminal 7. I will arrive at T7, 4 hours before my sister, who arrives at T3. I want to wait for her so we can travel into NY together. Just a few questions 1.Can I put my bags in storage anywhere?.2. I thought I might have a massage to fill in time, also could have a coffee, look at shops ,etc. Can I go into that area, even if I'm not flying, because I will not have a boarding pass.Any other suggestions as to what I do, and where to wait for my sister. Thankyou all in advance

Terminal 3 is closed, your sister will not be arriving there. There will be little for you to do on the non-secure side of the airport.

Thanks, we have just worked that out its now T4.Is there anywhere I can leave my luggage while I wait for her?, also where should I wait?

My daughter is flying from Paris to MSP on Delta/Air France. When she clear Passport and Customs, she will have to re-check her bag with Delta. Will she have to go through Security again to reach her connecting flight to SLC?

Yes, any time you go through immigration, if you are connecting to another flight, you have to go through immigration afterwards.
