Hello, I left my ASUS tablet on the seat back of AA 294 arriving from El Paso to DFW 10pm Gate C15 20 Jun 14. Went back the 21st and they checked the plane not there. Cleaning crew must have found it. GRAY ASUS pad in a brown case all my school work is there. Left message with AA lost and found Please contact Rey Caraballo 254 449-1748 rey.caraballo@us.army.mil Thank You!

You may also try one of these 3 Lost & Found options at DFW: 1. Travelers Aid at Terminal E: lower level, outside of security, at E4; tel: 972-973-4420. 2. Travelers Aid at Terminal D: in the D15 baggage claim area, outside of security, lower level; tel: 972-973-5050. 3. American Airlines Lost and Found, at Terminal C, inside security across from gate C2. Tel: 972-425-2465; email at dfwlnf@aa.com.

No, I don't think that is enough time. You will need to find an earlier flight. Also delays of inbound domestic flights are very common at JFK and especially during the summer.

  • Immigration and customer clearance ?

Hello. My mother in law will be traveling to St. Louis from New Delhi, india. She has a connecting flight (both united) at ewr. Will she be clearing immigration and customs at ewr? What will be the procedure? Will she be claiming her baggage there? If yes, how much time will the whole process take?

At EWR, your party may arrive at either Terminal B or C - both are used by United for international arrivals. While United Express uses domestic terminal A, United Airways uses Terminal C for domestic flights also. For Terminal, International Arrivals procedure, transfer options, I suggest you open www.ifly.com/ewr, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text.

She will arrive in B or C, go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, and then re-check her bags with United. Then she will take the Airtrain to her departure terminal (if she doesn't both arrive and depart from C), she may depart from A or C. Then she will go through security and to her gate. Minimum time allowed between an international and domestic flight at EWR is 90 minutes.

On the 26th I am flying Delta airlines from Indy to Alanta then having a 41 minute lay over in Alanta and going from there to Fort Myers Florida. This will only be my 3rd time flying and I will be by myself so I am mainly nervous about the Alanta airport and getting to the gate if I have to switch planes. Is their any way of getting help to my gate once I get there?

Study the map. Atlanta airport is very large but the layout is very simple. All concourses are connected inside security by the underground plane train. There will also likely be a Delta agent meeting your flight.

Yes, terminals 2 and 3 are connected by a walkway inside security.

Hi, It's our first time to JFK. We will be arriving from Bangkok to Doha via Qatar Airways to JFK Terminal 8,around 3:00pm. Will a 4:30pm flight departure on JetBlue, Terminal 5 give us enough time to clear customs and recheck my bags?.

I have a 45 minute layover with my grandchild, and am trying to decide if I should carry-on or check my luggage. If the distance between gates is substantial (I won't be able to run) then carry on for two might make it cumbersome to get to the next gate. However, since it's a short vacation, I don't want our luggage to get lost, and am worried because of the short layover that it might not make the plane.Does anyone know which areas of the airport these flights are (from Newark....to Pensicola on Delta)

I am flying in to IAH from Tokyo and have to catch a domestic flight. The Layover is 1 hour 50 mins. Is this enough time to catch my connecting flight? I am an active duty service member so that speeds things up a little but im still not sure that this will be enough time to check through immagration, customes, and recheck my baggage.

  • Max time between flights to re-check bags ?

Hi landing DFW 19:10 ex LHR. DFW to MCO following day 07:40. Staying overnight at the Grand Hyatt. After I have done C&I can I re-check the bags (it is a through ticket despite the layover) ? Colleague said there was a 12 hour max connection re-check time. Is that from landing in which case I will be over, or from re-check time ? Would you recommend re-checking or taking with me to Hotel. Time will be tight in the morning and prefer to re-check but not sure if bags will be secure / follow us to MCO. Advice welcome :-)

I will be coming from Calgary via WestJet to YVR then YVR to Pudong, Pudong to MNL. Do I have to claim my baggages in YVR & transfer to China Eastern or will it all be done in Calgary?

Yes, both Air Canada and Iberia use Terminal 7. Air Canada and Iberia do have an interline agreement. If you purchased tickets together your baggage will automatically be transferred to your Iberia flight, even if you purchased separately you can show your Iberia confirmation to the Air Canada agent in Toronto and ask that your baggage be checked through to Iberia (although they are under no obligation to do so if you purchased separate tickets). Regardless, 2.5 hours should be sufficient if your first flight is on-time.

  • Connecting flight Dayton to LHR

My wife is travelling alone from Dayton with United Express to EWR with a 70minute period to connect with a UA flight to LHR. Will her bags go straight from the UE plane to the UA? Will she go through customs at EWR? She is worried there will not be enough time. The tickets were booked as a package.

My wife is travelling alone on a UA booking from LHR to Dayton via IAD on Monday 16th June. The UA inbound arrives at 1055 and the outbound with United Express leaves at 1229. The tickets were booked online, together as a priced package. I want to understand the procedure on arrival, wheher she needs to collect bags, likely Concourses, transit arrangements and whether the time allowed is enough. She is quite nervous of the whole trip and it will help (us both!) if I can set out exactly what and where she needs to do/go. Sadly we have, in ignorance, booked her a seat at the back of the aircraft from LHR so she may be a while disembarking. ANY help most welcome. Thank you.
