Hi My wife is arriving at IAH from Dubai with 2 kids (4yrs and 1 yr) She also has 6 checked in bags. is there any way i can arrange for some one to help her. she and my elder son can walk, and she cannot carry the younger once and get the bags by herself what would be the best way to get help

There are baggage carts available for free in International baggage claim. If she cannot get the bags from the belt to the cart she will just have to ask someone to help her. http://www.fly2houston.com/iah-terminals-and-amenities

How do my parents request help getting from gate to gate at O'Hare? They are OK getting on and off the plane, but not walking distances.

The only way is to request wheelchair service from their airline. However, depending on what airlines they are flying they may not have far to go though.

Flying from Shanghai to Cincinnati thru DTW. Arr DTW 615pm Fri, Dep 735 for CVG. Do I have time clear customs and get toy flight home?

Your transfer time depends on the airlines you take, whether your bags will be transferred after customs check (if journey for both legs are bought on one ticket - simply re-check-in your bags after customs where indicated. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/dtw, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text - there you find 'International Arrivals' and transfers within and between terminals.

Since only Delta flies to DTW from those places you are on Delta. You will arrive in the McNamara Terminal where you will go through US immigration, claim your baggage, go through US customs, recheck your baggage, go upstairs and go through security. Your flight to CVG will depart from the same terminal. You should have enough time but you have no time to waste.

Thanks ZAP! I'll have been flying for 21 hours, including China in-country flight to Shanghai. I don't want to miss the last flight to CVG from DTW Fri night. I am considering joining BP Global Entry program for $100. Employer can't pay it for me.

I lost my ring during travelling 2nd-3rd Dec and it might be at Copenhagen airport, who can I contact?

If you lost an item at the airline counter, at the gate area or onboard your airplane, contact your airline directly. For items lost at CPH Airport, e-mail hittegods@cph.dk, or call +45 32 31 2284, or visit the information desks at Terminals 2 or 3.

I am flying from gate B to Orlando at 10:05 am on a Saturday. I am told security lines as of late at PHL are awful. I will have 3 children with me so I want to give myself plenty of time. Any suggestions as to what time I should arrive to check my luggage and go thru security. I am flying US Airways.

2 Hours before the flight should be sufficient. Even though you will have to check bags if you check in online that will save you some time.

Also, Saturdays are the least busy day.

  • TRAVELING FROM LOS ANGELES TO SEOUL

Traveling from Los Angeles to Seoul on Dec 1st around noon. What time should I get to the airport? Thank you.

You should be at the departures level of your terminal (which one 0 there are 9) two hours prior to scheduled departure. If you are able to check in on-line - so much the better; print out your baggage tag (or print it at the machines in the departures area). As you enter the terminal look at overhead screens to find your flight & gate number. For further details open www.ifly.com/lax, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text.

This would be our first traveling with transfer in Detroit and we have only 50 minutes time. We arrive from San Francisco with AF 377 - AIR FRANCE at 20:45 p.m. (Terminal EM) and will departe with AF 7744 - AIR FRANCE at 21:35 p.m. (Terminal EM) to F-Paris. Could you please help me what we exactly have to do. Are 50 minutes enough? Is the gate where we have to go fare away? Where and how do we have to go? Must we go with elevators or shuttle buses? Must we pick up our luggage and do we have to go to the customs?

I answered your question on November 21, you appear confused regarding your flight numbers. AF7744 is a Delta Air Lines flight from SFO to Detroit and AF377 is an Air France flight from Detroit to Paris. They will both operate from the A-concourse of the McNamara terminal in Detroit. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.

I will be arriving on US Air, my friends will arrive on TAP atTerminal 3, where will be the easiest place to meet? Thanks Not able to open roinrome.com/%20transportation/where-to-meet-at-FCO

Why can't you open it? Also, you will also be arriving in Terminal 3. The address you posted has a typo in it - try http://www.roninrome.com/%20transportation/where-to-meet-at-FCO

Okay so I am flying from Greenville, SC. I am planning on checking a bag. Since United didn't have any straight flights to Philly they have provided me with a Amtrak ticket to take from Newark. Well one thing I am confused about is if I'm checking a bag in, do I have to re-check it when I arrive in Newark at Amtrak or does it transfer? Also, the same on the way back. When I check my bag in at 30th Street Station, does it transfer or will I have to recheck a bag for United?

You have to claim your bag at the baggage claim and put it on the train and on the other way, put the bag on the train yourself then check it in Newark. There is no checked bag service on these Amtrak trains. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/united-mileageplus-consolidated/374107-united-amtrak-codeshare-faq-including-zfv-philadelphia-22.html

Flying PHX to DEN on United then DEN to YYZ on Air Canada. I have a 46 minute connection time. Is this enough?

You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time. There is an underground train that connects your arrival concourse (B) and your departure concourse (A).

All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Both flights will be in the A concourse of the McNamara Terminal. Also, your first flight, the one from San Francisco to Detroit will be operated by Delta, not Air France, so be sure to check-in with Delta in San Francisco. The second flight is operated by AIr France and is AF377. Your bags will be checked through to Paris in San Francisco and you don't have to do anything with them in Detroit.

DTW Airport has no Terminal EM. AirFrance is in the 1-mile-long McNamara Terminal, which has 121 gates in Concourses A & B/C (with A,B,C, gates). A tunnel connects in the center between Concourse A (near gate 38) and Concourses B & C (at Gates C1 of the lower level). Simply follow signs to your connecting gate. On arrival, look at overhead screens to find your flight & gate number. You have enough time.
