Mothers and Mothers-to-Be
1. For the privacy of mothers who wish to nurse their infants, a well-equipped Child Care Lounge with toys, baby cot and a female attendant is available at Domestic Departure Terminals (Terminal 1A & Terminal 1B). However, the facility is currently not available at Terminal 2.
2. Pregnant women are allowed to travel on domestic flights. However, a fitness certificate (certifying that the pregnant lady is fit to travel by Air) is required from her doctor. Women above 32 weeks pregnancy are not allowed to travel by air.
Visitor Area:
Available at the International Terminal. Entry for visitors is permitted on purchase of a ticket at Rs.30 (for Departure level) and Rs.60 (for Arrival level). The ticket is valid for three hours only.
Entry by passengers to the International terminal is 5 hours prior to departure, but the passenger can enter the visitors lounge 5 hrs prior to the flight departure. Whereas the facility atTerminal IA can be used at Rs.30 (Visitors Entry is prohibited in Terminal lB).
Waiting Rooms
1. International passengers holding valid tickets can enter the terminal building only 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. However they can avail the lounge facility available across the departure drop off area at the International Departure level. This can be used by bonafide ticket folders free of cost up to 8 hours prior to their scheduled departure. Visitors can use this facility by paying Rs. 60 per person. Visitors can also access the lounge at the Arrival level by paying Rs. 60 per person.
2. At the domestic Terminal 1B, DIAL has built a waiting area attached to the Terminal building for the convenience of passengers & visitors and at no charge.
3. At Domestic Terminal 1A, Terminal 1C, visitors can enter the terminal by paying Rs. 30 per person. Note that the visitor entry to terminals and lounges may be restricted without prior notice for security or operational reasons.

International Travelers at New Delhi IndiraGandhi DEL Airport
Passport & Visa Regulations:
1. For Indian nationals:
Indian nationals traveling abroad require a valid Indian passport and travel authority for the destination country. The travel authority is normally in the form of Visa, which is obtained prior to the journey, except in case of countries where "Visa on Arrival" is available.

If entering India by land or air from the Nepal or Bhutan border, respectively, do not require a passport for entering into India. However, they are required to possess authorized identity proof. Further if they are entering India from a place other than their own country then possession of passport is a must.

Powers of VISA conversions and extensions to foreigners residing in India, vests with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Foreigner's Division, Jaisalmer House, 26, Man Singh Road New Delhi.. For this purpose the foreigners can contact the Ministry of Home Affairs (Foreigners Division), Jaisalmer House, 26, Man Singh Road, New Delhi between 10 AM to 12 Noon on all working days (Monday to Friday). The change of VISA status from one category to another category is normally not allowed. It can be considered by the Ministry of Home Affairs only in extraordinary circumstances.

Pets / Animals at New Delhi IndiraGandhi DEL Airport
Pets are not allowed at the airport unless they are working dogs or are in a safe kennel. Contact your airline as to their requirements. For traveling with your pet out of the country: contact the embassy of the country of your destination as to shots and required documentation.

IGI Airport is a non -smoking facility, however, there is a smoking lounge inside the Security Hold Area and smoking is also allowed in business lounges.
