The easiest way to Izmir is to go to the Airport Station and take the subway 'IZBAN' * - or - the Havas airport shuttle bus provided by the Turkish Airline office, which runs every 20 mins and takes between 35-60 minutes. Public transport at Izmir is available 24/7.

The Havas Airport shuttle bus to Izmir coincides with every single domestic flight and service to the bus terminal is available upon request. Havas buses stop at the Turkish Airline Office. Its city route takes 50 minutes and includes the following stops: Karabaglar Orjaner, Buyuk Efes Oteli & Karsiyaka Mavisehir.
Public ESHOT buses 200-202 & 204 serve the Izmir metropolitan area:
- Route 200 to Mavisehir;
-Route 202 to Alsancak Cumhuriyet Avenue;
- Route 204 to Izotas (via Bornova subway & bus station)
The Passenger Ferry runs every 25 minutes between Karsiyaka, Bostanli & Konak . A total of eight ferry stations have been renovated and are in service: Bostanli, Karsiyaka, Bayrakli, Alsancak, Pasaport, Konak, Goztepe and Uckuyular. Car ferries run between Uckuyular and Bostanli, a 25 minute crossing. At Konak's Ferry Pier side in front of the Council building at Konak Buses 63, 104, 152, 180 & 542 serving different destinations.
