Main Terminal / Concourses at Izmir Adnan Menderes ADB Airport

The passenger terminal complex at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport was divided between the domestic and international terminal, and the  the Arrivals and Departure level. However,  the Domestic terminal is now closed, while a new Domestic terminal is being built to replace the existing one (groundbreaking was in June 2012) - completion is scheduled for 2014.

Presently all domestic flights are arriving & departing from the International Terminal - now divided into domestic and international parts (pending the opening of the new Domestic Terminal).  Passengers should follow domestic & international flight signs.

Amenities and services inside the terminal:  Food & drink establishments, shops and duty-free stores; ATM cash machines from five banks; a Varif bank branch; a clinic, lost & found, left Luggage, luggage wrapping; meeting points on either side of Arrivals; massage chairs; two masjids for men and women; and five CIP lounges, one of which is the the Millennium Lounge for first- and business-class passengers of affiliated airlines and holders of IS Bank credit cards.
The Smyrna conference room and fully-equipped TAV meeting room are both in the International Terminal.
Rental car counters are in the Arrivals area.

The new Domestic terminal - which is to connect to the existing international terminal via an airbridge - is to accommodate 25 million passengers per annum, with a 200,000 square meter indoor area.  It will have 64 check-in counters, and a 5,000 bags per hour capacity. There will also be a new parking structure and a new outdoor parking lot. All to be completed by 2014.
