From T8 to T1Apr 23, 201311So can i handle the luggage all by my self. When you get your bags, can you find a cart right around there easily and do you have to go downstairs or something if yes is there an elevator to take with the cart to catch the airtrain? Sorry for my dum questions. I just don't like the unknown. Many thanks again.rajty2000posted on Mon, Apr 22

getting around JFKApr 22, 201320I'm coming in from Rome on Delta at 4:40 pm, need to connect to Delta domestic flight to Detroit at 6:15. Do I have to go through customs and immigration? Which terminal will I likely be arriving at? Departing from? What kind of terminal to terminal transportation is available? Is this time line manageable?***posted on Mon, Apr 22Yes, you will have to go through immigration in JFK. Your flight will arrive in Terminal 3 and depart from Terminal 2. There is a walkway between the two terminals. With the amount of time that it commonly takes to get through immigration in New York, I think there's a good chance you will miss your connection and have to spend the night in New York unless your flight from Rome gets in quite early. You are on the last JFK-DTW flight of the day.ZAPposted on Mon, Apr 22

Jet Blue to Air BerlinApr 19, 201320Hi, I'll be arriving at JFK on Jet Blue and leaving on Air Berlin, What are the terminal numbers and how long does it take to get from one to the other, AND is there transportation or is it a walkSRposted on Fri, Apr 19JetBlue uses terminal 5 and Air Berlin uses Terminal 8. Take the Airtrain between the terminals. Budget about an hour for your connection, a little more if you have to claim bags with JetBlue and take them to Air Berlin. (this is assuming your JetBlue flight is domestic).ZAPposted on Fri, Apr 19

form T8 to T1Apr 23, 201320thank you for your response. I just thought it would be easier if I can pay one of the skycap I think that is what they are called and not worry about lifting my heavy luggage! Is that a possibility? If so where can I find them? Thank you again for taking the time to answer me.rajty2000posted on Wed, Apr 17Skycaps are outside & inside the baggage claim areas of each terminal. Terminals are 1 & 8 are far apart. Not sure if Skycaps would do the transfer.weapr13posted on Thu, Apr 18
