Hello, Delta has changed the scheduling of my flights, and this is the current situation. Delta flight DL 1723 YVR-JFK Layover of 1h 16m in JFK Delta flight DL 484 JFK-AUA
and also DL 722 AUA-JFK Layover of 1h 16m in JFK DL 1046 JFK-MXP (Operated by Alitalia).
For the two journeys, do I have to collect my luggage and pass again through check-in and security? Is it feasible in only 1h 16m? In case I will miss the connecting flight, will Delta reschedule me on another flight?

On the way to Aruba, you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver. All you have to do in JFK is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. On the way to Milan, you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Aruba. In JFK you just have to take the AirTrain to Terminal 1 and go through security. You should have enough time.

Thanks for helping me, ZAP, you reassured me a lot! Have a nice day!
Hi! I am looking at a flight from Europe to Boston via JFK with 2 hours transfer time from when the plane lands in New York to when the flight leaves for Boston - would that be enough? Do I need to go through Immigration at JFK or at BOS? Do I need to collect my bags at JFK and then check them in again before departing to BOS? Thank you so much!

You will go through US Immigration and Customs in JFK. During that process you will also claim your bags to take them through US Customs. I can't provide you any more details since you didn't post what airlines you are flying.
Hey, I am arriving on Etihad airways at JFK Terminal 4 at 9:30am and am planning to catch delta flight to Vegas at 11am, do you think I will have enough time as I will have to re-checkin my luggage. Thanks

That should be just enough time. You save a considerable amount of time as you pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Abu Dhabi.
I am arriving via Delta at 1130p in terminal 2 then catch an international china southern air flight in terminal 4. It departs at 140 am. Is that enough time? Do I need to recheck in my bags? I bought the tickets separately. What's the quickest way of getting to T4 from T2? Thanks.

Show your China Southern confirmation to the Delta agent in your origin city. Hopefully since they are Skyteam partners they can check your bags through to China Southern. Otherwise, you'll have to claim your bags in T2, take the AirTrain to T4, re-check your bags with China Southern and go through security. You should have enough time.
Hi, I booked a flight MPX-MIA, stop 2 hrs at JFK.. both flights - international and domestic- are with AA. Do I have to wait for my luggages and then check them in again? What about me? Do I have to clear customers and do the check in again? Both arrival and departure are on T8. Thankyou
Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, and go through security. You should have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I would like to book a Delta flight flying in from Boston which arrives at 8:25 to terminal 4. I have already booked a flight to Peru on Avianca also in Terminal 4 departing at 10:25 am. We do not have checked bags. Would that be enough time? Thank you.
Yes, that should be just enough time if everything goes perfectly.

Thank you for the response. I forgot to ask - do we have to go through security a second time? I thought if we were in the airport terminal we wouldn't have to but I wanted to check. Thanks again.
Our Finnair flight arrives at 3:50 pm and the American Airlines connection flight to Orlando departures at 6 pm, both to/from terminal 8. We'll be having checked bags with us and the flights are on the same reservation. Will there be enough time? We have been to JFK several times but this is the first time with such a short time between the flights. Is there a separate security check or do we have to stand in the same line as everyone else departing from terminal 8? I'm really nervous about the two hours layover but it's either that or 12 hours in Chicago.
That should be enough time. I believe you stand in the regular security line in Terminal 8.
