I am flying from Ireland on a working j1 visa to JFK and getting a connecting flight to Boston. I have an hour between my flight arriving and leaving to boston. I will need to get to T4 from T2. Will i have enough time to do this and will i have to go through customs and security. I am flying with Delta.
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Ireland. All you have to do in JFK is take the shuttle bus from T4 to T2, all inside security.
I was wondering if I have enough connection time. My arriving flight on Emirates, is at 1:55pm and my departing flight on Delta, at 3:30pm is enough time. I have global entry and I don't have to check a bag (but would like to if time is ok). I'm well-traveled but I want to make sure i have enough time overall.
With no checked bags and Global Entry, it's possible if you check in for your Delta flight online, but it leaves no time to spare.
I have a flight from Montreal to JFK on Delta, delayed to arrive at 9:58pm (Terminal 4), then have to catch a flight with EVA air at terminal 1 at 1:28am, do i have to collect my baggage and re-checkin again? or is it possible to have Delta transfer my luggage on to my next flight? And if so, how do i check in for the EVA air flight (as they do not have online check in option available)? Will i have enough time to complete all this if the flight is delayed further?
Thank you so much for the help!
If it's two separate reservations you will have to claim your bags, take it on the AirTrain to Terminal 1 and re-check it with Eva. You should have enough time.
