I will be flying from CLE to JFK on DL, then connecting to Emirates flight.I will claim luggage at domestci baggage claim. How do I get from domestic baggage claim to Intl check in for Emirates? Please help!
You just take an escalator up from the lower level of Terminal 4 where you claim your bags to the departure level where the Emirates check-in desk will be.
That's easy ! Thank you so much !
I am flying in JFK at 11:50am on Turkish Airways from Istanbul (terminal one) and have to go through to customs, get my luggage, go to terminal five and check-in for my JetBlue flight at 2:30pm, not to mention any security lines. I was wondering whether just two hours and a half would be enough? Thank you.
That should be just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
We are arriving on the 11 Dec 4am ish at JFK T4. Next flight is from T5 going to Orlando. How long should we give ourselves to clear imigration and check into the domestic flight, ie would 8am onward flight be safe?
Yes, an 8 AM flight should be plenty of time.
Hi, i have a 2 hour connection at JFK and need to go from terminal 4 to terminal 2 ( one ticket with delta ) , it is an international flight . Can I make my connection? Thanks !
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly. Where are you flying from and to?
Hey, thanks for your reply.
I'm flying in from Paris CDG and going on to MIA, all with delta.
I'm flying alone but I have some luggage checked-in...
What do you think?
Yes, just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hi I'm hoping you can let me know if I have enough time, I'm flying in to JFK from FLL with jetblue (terminal 5?) at 8.42am then flying out of JFK to BNE on Korean Air (terminal 1?) at 12pm, will I have enough time to make my second flight? They'll be separate tickets.
Yes, that should be enough time.
Hi, I am flying from RDU to France with layover at JFK. I am arriving at JFK at 17:45 and departing at 19:05 both Delta Airlines. Believe I will be arriving at Terminal 4 and departing from Terminal 1. Do I have enough time to make the connecting flight ? What is the quickest way to go between terminals ? Do I have to collect bag, re-checkin and go through security again ? I will have 1 check-in bag.with me.
The only way between terminals is the AirTrain. You don't have to do anything with your bag in JFK on your way to France. You should have enough time.
Thanks for the reply. Is the AirTrain a complimentary service ? Is this located outside the airport and do I have to repeat security clearance or is this just between terminals and I land staright near the departing gate ?
Hi, I'm landing at JFK T4 at 8.15am and have to take another flight on a different airline at 10.30am, also at T4. Do I have enough time to check-out, clear immigration and check-in again?
Where are you flying into JFK from and where are you flying to? What airlines are you on?
Flying into JFK from Rome at 2:30pm and will be flying from JFK to Dayton, OH airline is Delta
You just have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. All in Terminal 4. You have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Flying into JFK T4 on Emirates at 8.15am and departing at 10.30am on Virgin. Enough time?
Audrey, that is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Question, I am flying from Rome into JFK in February on one ticket and will have a seperate ticket to fly from JFK back to Dayton, OH. Our flight lands at JFK at 2:30pm how long should be plan for getting through customs and to our next gate? I am looking at flights times now to fly back to Dayton OH. Thanks!
On two separate reservations and with checked baggage I would want at least 3 hours.
Hi. I am flying from Charleston to Amsterdam with a 45-minute layover at JFK. In 45 minutes I have to make it from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 using AirTrain, I believe. I was told I don't have to get/recheck my bag or go through security again. Will I have enough time? Thanks very much.
Btw, my tickets are on one reservation and are with Delta.
You don't have to use the AirTrain. Delta runs a shuttle bus between T2 and T4 inside security. Use that. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Thank you very much for the reassurance.
Hi! i am flying from Barbados to South Korea, landing in JFK for a connection. My flights are BGI to JFK with jetblue and then JFK to ICN with Asiana Airlines. I have about 2h and 23min connection time in JFK. The flights are connected on the ticket and Jetblue codeshares with Asiana Airlines. Is this enough time?
Yes, that is just enough time if the flight from Barbados is on-time.
