I'm arriving at JFK terminal 5 on a JetBlue flight arriving at 4:15 pm and have a connection on Qantas in terminal 7 at 6:10 pm. There's two of us and have 1 piece of checked luggage each. Is this enough time.? Not sure if Qantas has luggage arrangements with JetBlue.
That's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly. JetBlue and Qantas do not have an interline agreement so you'll have to claim your bags in T5, take them on the AirTrain to T7 and re-check them with Qantas.
I fly to JFK from MCO on jet blue (does not give arrival terminal) then out of terminal 1 on air china to PEK with 1hr50min between flights. Is this enough time?
You arrive in Terminal 5. Is it one reservation or two separate reservations? Do you have checked bags?
I believe 1 reservation. I didn't book the flights separately.
I only have a carry on
Then you should have enough time. Just take the AirTrain to Terminal 1 and go through security.
Reaching Terminal 5 by JetBlue around 09:30a.m. Have to collect baggages and shift them (total 5 pieces, including hand luggages) to Terminal 8 -to catch a Cathy Pacific flight to Honkcong departing at 2:55p.m. Though there is ample time,my concern is how to tar the baggages? Are trolleys available at Terminal 5. Will it be possible to shift them through Air train? Any other tips ?
Why would you "tar the baggages"??? Seriously, pack a foldable luggage cart in your baggage.
Were flying from PHL to JFK then to Heathrow. Looks like we land at terminal 2 JFK and depart from terminal 4. We have about 1 hour 15 minutes between the flights Flight into JFK is Delta, flight out of JFK is Virgin. What is the quickest way to get to terminal 4? Do we need to collect and re-check luggage at JFK? Thanks in advance
You don't have to do anything with your bags if both flights are on the same reservation. Just take the Delta shuttle bus inside security from T2 to T4.
Will 2 hours be enough time to transfer from JFK to sxm? I am coming from Vancouver, Canada.
What airlines are you flying?
Cathay pacific Yvr to jfk
JetBlue jfk to Sxm
With checked bags that's not realistically enough time. With no checked bags it's maybe barely possible.
Good day,
I have an international flight arriving at T8 followed by a domestic one going out from the same terminal (but with a different airline, in case it's important ). Is there a way to avoid having to pass through the security twice in this case (I will have NO checked baggage).
Thank you.
After you clear US Immigration and Customs you HAVE TO go through security to access your departure gate.
Traveling with 9 family members next year. From RDU to JFK we have about a 4 1/2 hr layover. Will we need to collect bags and recheck them since both flights are with Delta?
You won't have to claim your bags in JFK on your way to Rome as there is no US Customs when leaving the US.
i will be landing from Florida to JFK via jet blue in terminal 5.I then have to switch to Terminal 7 for an Iceland air flight to Iceland. I have 2 hours and 37 minutes is that enough time to make this connection?

also kind of random question but if i buy a sandwich or something at the Florida airport TSA in JFK should let it pass on my carry on right?
Yes, that is enough time. Yes, you can take a sandwich through security.
Great Thank You
Hey. Do I fly into New York at 6:30 from Kuwait airways and then I have a flight to Portland Maine at 10:45pm with JetBlue. Will I have to carry my luggage to terminal 5 where jet blue is or can I check it in in terminal 4itself?
Also, where should I look for checking in my bags in terminal 4. Like will I be able to see the counters for checking in my luggage as soon as I enter terminal 5?
You will have to take your bags with you to Terminal 5 if it's two separate reservations. JetBlue is the main airline that uses Terminal 5 so their check-in desks are hard to miss.
My kids and I will arrive at JFK on Aeroflot at 12:05 pm and departure on American at 2:59 pm. Will it be enough time to go through customs and re-claim luggage? or If I will try to make a transit luggage, will my visit to JFK be easier?
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly. I don't know "make a transit luggage" means. You will have to take your bags to Terminal 8 to re-check them with American.
thank you for answer
