I am planning on buying two tickets; one from London to JFK arriving at 11:10am on the 24th June 2017 and another on the same day leaving JFK at 13:50 to Augusta, Maine. I'm coming in on a J1 visa and have been to the USA before but is 2 hours 40 mins enough time to do all the necessary baggage collection, baggage drop off and checking in etc.
I am arriving at 13.05 with American from the UK at Terminal 8 and need to catch a Delta flight from Terminal 4 to Orlando at 15.55. Will there be enough time to collect bags, clear Immigration and check in at Terminal 4?
That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
I am arriving in Terminal 1 on Royal Air Maroc from Casablanca at 5:35pm on a Tuesday. I have 1 hour 50 minutes to clear customs (I have Global Entry), collect my bag, get to Terminal 2 and re-check my bag for a 7:25pm flight on Delta to Boston (business class). Am I likely to make my connection?
I'll be arriving on JetBlue (Terminal 5) at 21:58 and my next flight is on EVA Air (Terminal 1) at 00:20. All flights were booked under one reservation. I'll have one checked-in luggage. Do I need to pick up and re-check in the luggage? Do I need to go through the security check again? How to go from Terminal 5 to Terminal 1? Do I have enough time (2 hr 22 min)? Thank you.
If your JetBlue flight is domestic you don't have to do anything with your bag. Just take the AirTrain from T5 to T1 and go through security. You have enough time.
JetBlue flight is domestic and EVA Air flight is international. Thanks much for the response!
Hi, I am looking at a flight arriving at JFK from Iceland (KEF) on Delta (Terminal 4) on a Monday mid-morning, and would like to then take an AA flight on a separate ticket from JFK to DFW. There would be a little over 4 hours of connection time. I am a US passport holder. Is that sufficient time to get my bag, go through customs/immigration, change terminals (from T4 to T8, I believe) and recheck my bag with AA? Thanks.
I'll be arriving on Delta to Term 2 or 4 (not sure yet) from new orleans at 10:25 pm My next flight is on Aeroflot from Term 1 at 1:00 am(2h:45 min) Is that enough time to make the connection? (two separate reservations i have to take my bag in recheck again) if i have time, what is the fast route to get terminal 1,.
That should be enough time. The only way to T1 is the AirTrain.
I am arriving from Phoenix on American and have 3.5 hours to transfer to an international flight to berlin on Delta. Is this enough time? How do I get between terminals? Will I have to go through security again at JFK
Yes, you will have to claim your bags, take the AirTrain to Terminal 4, and go through security. You have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
A ticket I am considering only has a one hour layover from RDU to JFK (QR 5483) to DOH (QR704) Arriving into Terminal 8 and departing from Terminal 7. I havent been inside the US in a few years so I dont know how things operate now, but it seems like a tall order if I have to leave the arrival terminal and recheck through security in the departure terminal.. Is one hour enough time? This was the itinerary provided by Qatar Airways itself.. not something I pieced together. Any help would be appreciated.
1 hour is indeed a difficult connection time. It's not impossible, but everything has to go perfectly.
