I am traveling from New Orleans to JFK then on to Glasgow. I only have 50 minutes in JFK. Will I have to change terminals? Will I have enough time to make the connection?
Forgot to mention, both flights are with Delta
You will arrive in terminal 2 or 4 and depart from Termianal 4. If you arrive in 2, Delta runs a shuttle bus inside security to Terminal 4. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I am a US citizen arriving JFK on Lufthansa terminal 1 with a 1.5 layover and connecting flight in Jet Blue. 2 large bags to collect. Will I make it?
If both flights are on the same reservation that is barely enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hey, I am planning to fly from SAN to TLV, with a 1:45 hours layover at JFK.
Both flights; SAN->JFK (domestic) and JFK->TLV (international) are with Delta Airlines.

Is 1h 45m Layover in JFK enough?
Yes, that is enough time. You just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate in JFK.
Hi, I fly in to JFK Terminal 4 with Delta operated by KLM and need to catch my connection flight to Amsterdam also departing from Terminal 4 with Delta operated by KLM, will I need to go through border control, pick up my bag and check in again? I have 90 min between flights, will it be enough? The ticket was bought at the same time as a package. Thanks
Sorry I forgot write Im flying in from Mexico City. THX
Your flight from Mexico City will be operated by Delta. Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. You have barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Ok thanks. I have a Visa Wavier and it usually takes me half an hour to get through the immigration control, I guess I will have to run between planes
I will arriving from Dubai on Emirates at 2:10pm. I need to book a flight to Atlanta on Delta. What is mInimum time I should allow for customs and going between terminals? Thanks!
3 hours minimum
I arrive at 8:15pm in 6/9/17 on delta and leave at 10:05 pm 6/9/17 on norwiegan to Copenhagen, will I have time
That's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Do i need to pass customs/passport control again for a domestic flight from Boston? I notice i am landing at B 37 and my partner is arriving in the same terminal at B32 (from Amsterdam). This suggests we both have to go through passport control. Thanks. Michael
There is no US Customs when traveling on a domestic flight. At US Airports some gates are set up to handle both international and domestic flights.
Hi,
Coming on an intl delta flight to terminal 4 and connecting to a delta flight to chicago at terminal 2.
Unfamiliar with the process, can u tell me what the steps are ?
Thank you.
Flights to Chicago also depart from Terminal 4. You will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
Flying into JFK form Tampa on to Berlin, if we take the Delta jitney from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 will we have to go back through security? Thanks.
No, you don't. The Jitney runs inside security.
Flying from Atlanta to JFK arriving 7:30pm and then leaving for Iceland at 9pm (boarding begins at 8)
We can't get any information about what this middle process is. Our bags are checked through to Iceland. Do we need to claim them? Go through security again?
Looks like we might be coming in Terminal 2 and departing terminal 4. Do we have enough time? Are we supposed to take a shuttle?
Thank you!!! On the plane now...
If both flights are on Delta then you just have to take the shuttle from T2 to T4 (if you arrive in T2) and board your flight on the way to Iceland.
