Hello, I am arriving at JFK on Sunday 4 Dec at 8 am from Qatar on Qatar Airways (terminal 7) and have to connect to a flight from American Airlines to Cancun that departs at 12.25 pm (terminal 8)..

Do I have enough time to go through immigration, collect my suitcase, transfer to terminal 8 to check in to American Airlines?

How far is terminal 7 from terminal 8 and how do I go from one terminal to the other..
Terminals 7 and 8 are right next to each other and connected by the AirTrain. You have plenty of time.
Thank you!!!
I arrive JFK terminal 7 at 7:55AM and fly Jetblue(terminal 5) to Orlando at 10:25 AM. It is enough time for transfer?
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
We are booked (May 2017) to fly Thomas Cook into JFK due at 12:55, we are booked to fly to Toronto at 15:20 on American Airlines. 2 Passengers with checked luggage, so I understand we will have to collect and transfer baggage, clear immigration etc? Do we have enough time (2 hour 25minutes)?
That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly. I personally wouldn't try it (I'd want at least 3 hours) but it's not impossible.
We are landing at JFK coming from Madrid at 6.55PM on American and looking to book a connecting flight to Los Angeles on Jet Blue at 9.30PM. Is this enough time to clear customs, get through security and get to the new terminal?
Late in the evening that might be possible, but it leaves no time to spare if you have checked bags. Check in online for your Jetblue flight before leaving Madrid.
Arriving on Air Berlin at 3:45 PM. Do I have time to get thru customs, get checked baggage and leave on a Delta flight at 6:30 PM?
and get bags rechecked to fly Delta at 6:30
That's barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
I am coming into JFK on El Al arriving at 6am and have a Delta Flight departing at 8:05am. Can I make it and how is JFK configured to get me bags to Delta after customs
That will be really difficult. You will have to claim your bags to go through US Customs and then take them to the Delta check in desk on the departure level of Terminal 2 or Terminal 4 to re-check your bags.
Delta offers LAX-Glasgow, connecting through JFK with a 46 minute connection time (DL2012/DL466). I'm concerned this isn't enough time. Am I worrying too much -- should I just trust Delta and book it (either through Delta or, saving money, through Virgin Atlantic)?
It is possible but it leaves no time to spare if the flight from LAX is delayed.
We are flying Delta to LAX to Punta Cana with a 1.5 hour layover at JFK. Is that enough time to make the connecting flight and where do we go
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 4.
So we don't need to collect checked baggage or go through customs right? We haven't book our tickets yet because we were not aware that on Delta we arrive in the same terminal as we depart for Punta Cana. I am assuming that if they both arrive and depart in the same terminal we should have plenty of time as long as LAX is on time.
Correct, there is no US Customs when leaving the US.
Arriving into JFK British Airways T7? 7:30pm with onward connection JetBlue to Caribbean 11:00pm. Is this enough connection time?
Yes, that should be enough time if the British Airways flight is on-time. You will have to transfer any checked bags yourself to JetBlue.
I'm arriving at JFK from Madrid and have a connecting flight to Charlotte 1 hr 45 minutes later. Is this enough time to get through customs and recheck bags?
What airlines are you flying? Are both tickets on the same reservation or two separate reservations?
