I fly from Minneapolis to JFK T4 through Delta on March 11 and reach JFK at 16:47. My connection flight is AF(operated by Delta) from same terminal T4 at 19:05. Should I go through security check again at JFK?

No, you will not have to go through security again in JFK. You have plenty of time.

Will I have enough time to transfer from a jetblue flight to Am. Airline(terminal 8) in an hour and half? No checked bags and early in am.

If you check in online for your American flight and your Jetblue flight arrives on-time that should be just enough time.

I am fying in to jfk terminal 5(Jetblue) and connecting to terminal 4 (SAA) last time i made this connection I was hopelessly lost and ended up leaving the building and walking to the other terminal. How do I get to the Airtan from terminal 5 to terminal 4 I will appreciate detailed directions from those who know Thanks in advance

My daughter is in the same situation and I'd also love detailed directions as well

  • Changing from Delta to Air France

We are flying into JFK on Delta from SEA. We have a 1 hour 20 min layover, then flying Air France to Dublin. It's all on the sane itinerary. Will we have enough time to catch our connection? Will we have to go through security again at JFK?

Both flights will be on Delta. All you have to do in JFK is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 4. You have enough time.

My flight from Istanbul is scheduled to arrive at JFK at 11:55am on a Tuesday. I have GE and am flying with only carryon luggage. I have two choices for connecting flights home: 2:40pm and 8:30pm. Can I confidently book the 2:40, or will it be cutting things too close?

Yes, I think with Global Entry and no checked bags you would be OK taking the 2:40 flight.

I am travelling from St Maarten SXM at 20.21 to JFK, leaving JFK to Heathrow at 22.30. Will I have plenty of time?

I forgot to mention flying with Delta.

That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.

  • Transit through JFK

Hello,I am flying from New Delhi,India to Toronto via Dubai, and then transit through JFK.Do I have to do Customs/Immigration at JFK,have 90 mins before I get to connecting flight at Terminal 7 from Terminal 4? Do I have enough time? Thanks

Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags, go to your departure terminal, and go through security. Are all your tickets on the same reservation? Even if they are that's a very very difficult connection.

Oh Lord!I might miss my flight then, any advantages as I am a Canadian citizen?

As a Canadian citizen you can use the automated immigration kiosks along with US Citizens and repeat ESTA users. So that's one advantage.

Forgot to add Ireland to Denver is on Delta

Yes, that should be enough time. Since you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in ireland all you have to do in JFK is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Yes, that should be enough time.

is there a re-check desk at terminal 7 that i can re-check my bags for the terminal 8 flight?

Hi, my flight lands in hgk from Manchester then we have a connecting flight 1.45 hours later. Is this doable with 3 children and my husband and I. It's an AA flight with a BA flight code.

It's possible, but it leaves little time to spare if there are any issues. Where are you flying out of JFK to?

We are flying out to Orlando.

Flying from RIC to JFK then JFK to Madrid (dep 7:30pm on Delta). Incoming flights from RiC allow either 6.5 hr layover or 1h1m. Can I make the 1hr connection or too risky?

1 hr 1 minute is possible as long as the flight from Richmond is on-time.

I get in on AA from Charlotte and my BA flight to LHR leaves in an hour and 25 mins..is that enough time? All bags should be checked through to my final stop

Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal 8.

Actually, if your flight to LHR is actually operated by BA, then you will have to take the AirTrain to T7 and go through security. Should still be enough time though.
