Im travelling from AUH to JFK with EY arriving at 09:30 am and booked a flight with DL from JfK to YYZ at 11:50
Is that enough time to connect as there is pre clearance in AUH? Also if anyone could explain the excat process once arrived at JFK would be really helpful

In JFK you will arrive, claim your bags, take your bags to Delta and re-check them and go through security and to your departure gate. When you get to Toronto you will go through Canadian immigration and customs. You should have enough time.
Hello, I am traveling to Milan, Italy from Orlando, FL. Will a 2hr and 12 minute layover in JFK suffice to get me on a flight to Milan? Will I need to pickup my bags and go through TSA again at JFK? I plan to fly American Airlines for both flights (Orlando to JFK and JFK to Milan).
Thanks in advance!
All you have to do in JFK on your way to Milan is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is no US Customs when leaving the US.
We arrive at JFK at 2:15 in the afternoon on Delta and leave on Air France at 4:20. It is one ticket. Will this be enough time?
That is just enough time if the first flight is on-time. You have to take the AirTrain to T1 and go through security.
I'm a Canadian resident. I have an USA visa. I'm landing to Terminal 4 (Delta) and I have connection flight from T2 (Delta too) after 1h 40 minutes. Is it enough time to pass security control and reach my flight?
Is there any fast lines for transit passengers with a short connection? What I need to do in such case?
Where are you flying into T4 from? Where are you flying to?
Arriving JFK on Delta at 16:45 pm from Moscow (SVO airport). Depart on Delta at 18:25 pm to Vancouver (YVR airport).
You have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. That is a very difficult connection.
Why we need to claim our bags? I bought tickets Moscow -> Vancouver by the same airlines (Delta) with connecting flight (Delta) in New-York .
As it is a connecting flight, we will check-in our bags in Moscow and will collect bags in Vancouver, isn't it?!
You have to claim your bags to take them through US Customs. It's a US Immigration law that you have to.
Thank you for all your answers!
Arriving JFK on Delta @ 7:20 pm. Depart on Emirates @ 10:20pm. Not on same reseveration. Must pick up bags and recheck. How much time do I need?
If you are arriving on a domestic flight that should be enough time. If it's an international flight that will be difficult.
Hello I will arrive terminal 5 on JetBlue at RDU, and need to take a connection flight to Inchon at terminal 4. Do I need to reclaim my luggage, and If Yes, do I have enough time if I have 1 hour 40 minutes? Thanks,
Is it one reservation or two separate reservations? If it's two separate reservations that's probably not enough time.
i am wondering if flying in from Alitalia (AZ) at 1:25pm terminal 1, leaving out of terminal 8 American Airlines at 4.:45. Is that enough time between flight?
Yes, that should be enough time if the Alitalia flight is on-time.
Thanks for your help
I have a flight arriving at JFK terminal 5 on JetBlue from LA. Then switching to El Al flight to Israel out of terminal 4. Checking luggage in LA. Both flights are on the same reservation made with El Al. There is 2 hours between flights. Is that sufficient time?
Yes you just have to take the AirTrain one stop to T4 and go through security. You should have enough time.
I need to transfer from terminal 4 to 1 to international flight got 3 HR is that enough time?
Yes, that should be enough time.

I am flying from Montreal to JFK with American Airlines arriving at Terminal 8 at 2:50pm on a Saturday. My connecting flight is at 6:10pm on the same day with Qantas at Terminal 7. Will i need to go through customs when i arrive or will i able to just pick up my checked baggage and head to Terminal 7?

If i do need to head out and back in, will 3 hours be enough on a Saturday to make my 2nd flight?

Thanks for any help!
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Montreal. if it's two separate reservations you will just claim your bags, take them on the airtrain to T7, check them with Qantas, and go through security. If everything's the same reservation all you have to do is take the AIrTrain to T7 and go through security. You have enough time either way.
Awesome, thanks for clearing things up!
