Kalamazoo Battle Creek AZO Airport Overview

Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport AZO serves the Cities of Kalamazoo and Battle Creek in the southwest of Michigan State - known for its major companies Stryker, Eaton, Perrigo, Kellogg & Pfizer.

AZO Airport is located in Kalamazoo - just south of I-94, off Portage Road (Exit 78).

With 250K passengers per year, Kalamazoo /Battle Creek Airport  is presently served by major airlines with direct flights to some U.S. cities and connecting flights to all points of the globe.
United Airlines started service in early December 2015.
Delta upgraded its service to larger 16CRJ 900s with two-class service.

The new passenger terminal at Kalamazoo / Battle Creek Airport recently completed its terminal project by adding an expansions to the security checkpoint, the baggage claim area & the rental car facilities. Covered passenger boarding is now available for all flights and second-level gates boarding. Natural light is now being used more efficiently.

  - at upper level:  Business Center with charging stations, restrooms in pre- and post-security; hearing loops, newconcessions at post-security, vending at post-security,

Transportation:  The ground transportation counter is in the baggage claim area.  Aside from taking a taxi or limo (Leisure Transport - tel. 269-343-0848), the Kalamazoo ransit bus service can be reached at 269-337-8222 or open:  www.kmetro.com.  Buses run hourly 7am-10pm Mon-Sat; no Sun/holidays.

Present and future Airport developments:   In November 2015, the demolishion of the old passengers terminal was completed - while in its place a new cell phone lot is to be ready by Spring 2016.
