It is recommended that you contact your airline (best when making reservations, but at least 24 hrs prior to scheduled departure) as to your special needs, including wheelchair.
Also call the Airport at 816-243-5237 for wheelchair reservation and curbside assistance, if not accompanied by another person. This person could get you to the gate; but need special airline permission to do so.
