Kinston Regional Jetport ISO, is located near the City of Kinston, in the eastern part of North Carolina, is a state-of-the-art airport with one of the longest runways along the Eastern Seaboard. Even though the Airport's history began in 1942, and turned into a regional Airport after WWII, serving the area's population, it ceased to be a commercial airport after the last commercial airline serving the Airport pulled out it 2000. Efforts to get other airlines interested in the Airport failed.
At present, Kinston Regional Jetport is a general aviation Airport offering, among others, Ramp/Hangar rentals, deicing services, equipment rental and air charter services.
