Kirkenes Airport Hoybuktmoen KKN serves the Hoybuktmoen area of eastern Finnmark, in Norway, and is situated at the base of a peninsula jutting into Varangerfjord.
KKN Airport is located in Hesseng, 16 km from Kirkenes, accessible directly via motorway E6 and E105 connecting to E6.
With a long runway accommodating jet airplanes, and an around 282,000 passengers a year, Kirkenes Airport is hub to Wideroe airline and is served by Norwegian Air Shuttle and Scandinavian Airlines offering daily flights to Oslo-Gardermoen airport and many other domestic airports, and by Wideroe airline to smaller airports.

NOTE:  It is recommended that you check in for domestic flights at last one hour prior to scheduled departure, for international flights 1.5 hours, and for charter flights two hours.

The new passenger terminal at Kirkenes Airport has four check-in desks, four gates, cafeteria, newsstand, gift shop, travel agent, tourist information desk, rental car desks, and baby/parent room.
