Kristiansand Kjevik KRS Airport Overview

Kristiansand Airport Kjevik KRS serves the south Norwegian county of Vest-Agdde and its capital city Kristiansand. It is one of the Airports operated by Avinor, which recently made internet access at all of its airports free.
The Airport is located in the town of Kjevik, 16 km northeast the city center of Kristiansand, and is accessible via Highway 41 Topdalsveien, exit Kjevikvein Road. (Highway 41 south connects to motorway E18).

With an estimated  1millionpassengers in 2012, Krisiansand Airport is serves by domestic and international airlines offering domestic flights, as well as flights to Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Alicante and Las Palmas. Seasonal charters also offer flights to popular vacation destinations. More than half of all passengers fly on business. 

NOTE: 1. For international departures, arrive 1.5 hrs prior to scheduled flight, for domestic flights one hour beforeand for charter flightst at least 2 hours.  2. Do not confuse this Airport with Kristiansund Airport at Kvernberget (spelled with a u).

Kistiansand Airport has one passenger terminal. (For details, please refer to 'Terminal Map' page.)

Parking options at Krisitansand Airport include: Short-term lot P1 in front of the terminal (pay with coins or cards at the payment machine); Short-term lot P2 behind it; Short- & Long-term lot P3 to the right of the road, behind P2 as you get to the terminal; and Long-term economy lot P5 (taking the right, past the P3 entrance. 2 spaces are for electric vehicles & charging station.  Payment by coins or card at payment machine. Minimum payment is for 1 week.

To get from Kristiansand  Airport to your destination you can rent a car or take a bus from the Airport to Kristiansand, Lillesand, Grimstad and Arendal. It takes 30 minutes to get to the city center.
