  • 60 min layover at LGA

Flying Delta Minneapolis to Bangor with a layover at LaGuardia. Will an hour be enough to make my connection. No idea what gate arriving at or leaving from. Is Delta at one terminal only?

Delta uses both Terminals C and D but they are connected inside security by a walkway. An hour is enough time if the flight from Minneapolis is on-time.

Thank. On time are the key words!

I am dropping a rental at LGA tomorrow to catch a 400 flight. I understand the rental shuttles now just go to A and I have to take a shuttle. I think I am going to terminal D (flying delta). How much time do I need to schedule for this

I would want to arrive at the rental lot 2.5 hours before your flight.

I want to take the m-60 bus from manhattan to the Delta Airlines terminal. Last time I took it, it stopped only at the main terminal. How do I get back to terminal D?

You can walk or take the Purple Route bus (which would probably be slower).

  • Delta, from Orlando to La Guardia to Montreal

Hi, I'm arriving from Orlando to La Guardia at 6:40pm with Delta, and have a connecting flight at 8:45pm with Delta, to Montreal. Is this enough time for my connection? Do I have to pickup my luggage? Thanks!

Yes, that is enough time. No you do not have to do anything with your baggage. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

I'm arriving from Charlotte at 9h54am... and need to change terminal I think from LGA to Montreal, Canada at 10h50am. Do I need to go thru customs ? Do I have time to catch that flight? Do you know the terminal

There is no US Customs when leaving the US. What airlines are you flying?

American Airline from Charlotte to LGA...and American Airlines from LGA to Montreal

There is no US Customs when leaving the US. You will arrive in Terminal B and depart from Terminal A. American runs a shuttle inside security between them.

Sorry, I mean you will arrive in Terminal C and depart from Terminal B.

I am arriving to LGA terminal D and will need to pick up my bags then meet others in my party in Terminal B. Can I walk this or take a bus. What is the best way to get there?

the roadways around LaGuardia are a complete mess right now due to construction. I would try to walk, but I also suggest that they meet you in D. The roadways there are much less screwed up than in B.

We are arriving at LaGuardia with 45 mins to get connecting flight to Toronto, Canada..Will we have to go through customs and will we have enough time to make flight..no carry on luggage..Thankyou!

There is no US Customs when leaving the US. What airlines are you flying?

    sorry..Delta

Then yes, that is just enough time if your first flight is on-time. All Delta gates are connected inside security (unless you are arriving from Chicago or Washington DC).

  • Will I have enough time to get to my gate?

Hi so I'm flying to Ohio from Boston and I have a layover who n LGA so I come in at terminal C and my next flight is in terminal B. The layover is only 49 minutes and I want to know if I have to go through security again and if I'll have enough time to do so. I'm traveling with just a carry on and I'm flying American Airlines if that makes a difference. I've never flown with a layover before and I wanted to know if I should know anything else about it. Thank you for your help! I'm really anxious about this for some reason I just don't want to miss my flight.

American runs a shuttle inside security from their gates in C to their gates in B. You have just enough time if everything goes perfectly.

I just called AA and they said that they do not offer a secure bus connection and that you must exit security to take the airport shuttle.

Whoever you talked to doesn't know what they're talking about.

Can I walk past security from United terminal where there are no restaurants, to Delta terminal that has nice ones?

    No, you cannot.

Is it likely that I'll have enough time to catch my flight from Boston landing in terminal C to my flight to Ohio, departing from D with a 40 min layover? I'm just bringing a carry on so I'm hoping that will help? I'm a nervous traveler and haven't dealt with Laguardia before...

It's possible. It doesn't leave much time to spare and as you may know things at LaGuardia aren't exactly known for running on-time.

I need to know how to move the terminal B to D

You have to take the Route Purple bus or a very long walk. LGA, particularly Terminal B is a mess right now due to construction.

Tight connection arrive Lga at terminal c depart terminal b. Is there a shuttle. Or can one walk?

If both flights are on American, they operate a shuttle inside security between their gates in C and their gates in B.

I'm flying from Minneapolis to Laguardia then to Bangor Maine both on Delta flights. Will I need to use a bus or shuttle to get to my connecting flight?

No, you will not. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. All Delta and Delta Connection gates are connected inside security.

  • Time to get from D to A

I have 55 minutes to get from Terminal D to Terminal A. Is this generally enough time and what is the best route?

The only ways are the Delta shuttle bus and the Red Route shuttle bus. Note that only the Delta Shuttle flights to Chicago and Washington DC use Terminal A.
