When booked in Dec, I had a longer layover, but with several updates to the time schedules, our layover is now only 30 minutes. Just checked in online, but gates still aren't assigned. Will these flights be in the same terminal? I assume we won't make if if they aren't. Thanks!
All Delta gates are connected inside security. It is possible assuming both flights are on Delta and the first flight is on-time. But it is risky.
I'm landing in Terminal B via American flight 4763 and need to be in Terminal C for American flight 3548 an hour later. What is the quickest route between terminals, and do I have enough time? Do I need to be checked in through security again?
American operates a shuttle bus inside security between their gates in B and their gates in C.
Good to know! And an hour is enough time to take this shuttle and get to my next gate?
Yes, it should be.
Given 4 terminals, is there a shuttle bus/rail system between terminals? Don't know airport, looks like quite a distance on map. Help please!
Yes, there is a shuttle bus but because of terminal construction in Terminal B, it is very slow. What terminals are you traveling between/what airlines are you flying?
I am connecting in LGA tomorrow with a 52 minute layover to get from Terminal D to Terminal C. Do I need to use the shuttle or is it walkable? I am nervous about making the flight. Delta to Delta.
C and D are connected by a walkway inside security. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I arrive LGA at 11:48am on Delta, and have to make an America flight at 1:00pm. Is this enough time?
Additional Info:
Inbound flight from ROC to LGA arrives 11:48am.
Outound from LGA to PSP leaves 1:00pm
Carry-on luggage. Enough time?
Where are you connecting to PSP? In DFW? If so you will have to walk from Terminal C or D where you arrive to Terminal B and go through security. That will be very difficult.
Thank you very much for the prompt and knowledgeable response. Yes, the PSP connection is through DFW. Rebooked to arrive LGA at 10am. 3 hour layover and another $200 but no anxiety!
This is a great service, thanks again.
Hi i will be flying with Delta from Ottawa to LGA and have exactly one hour for my next flight to FLL. Is it enough for the tranfer? whats the possibility that my checked luggage will make it too
That is enough time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Ottawa so all you have to do in LGA is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Also the airport code for Ottawa is YOW, not "OTT".
I'm going from (CLT) to (YYZ)-Toronto wth a layover at LGA my inbound flight arrives at 7:14pm and leaves at 7:55pm I'm flying AA and it looks like I will have to switch from terminal C to B. I have carryon luggage only, do I stand a chance? Also will the airline pay for another ticket if there is a delay?
There is a shuttle inside security for AA passengers from C to B, but as you say, everything has to go perfectly. Yes, if you miss your connection, they will rebook you, but the next AA flight to Toronto probably isn't until the next morning.
Thanks! Also does aa put u up in a hotel or am I sleeping in the terminal, just curious lol
They would only put you up in a hotel if the first flight was delayed due to a mechanical problem.
Can a passenger walk to Terminal C from Terminal B with the construction happening now?
I'm connecting at La Guardia and have a 36 minute layover. Flying Endeavor Air DBA Delta Connection and will have to go from Terminal D to Terminal B. Do I even stand a chance?
Are both of your flights on Delta/Delta connection? Because all Delta/Delta connection flights except those to Chicago and Washington-DCA are located in Terminals C and D.
Yes, both flights are on Delta/Delta Connection. I'm flying from Pittsburgh International, to La Guardia and then to Kansas City, MO.
Then all of your flights will be in Terminal C and D, you don't have to go to Terminal B. Therefore all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. you have enough time if the first flight is on-time but there's no time to spare if it's not.
I am looking into booking a flight from Columbus Ohio to Orlando FL on Delta. However, there is an hour and 49 minute layover in LGA. We will arrive in LGA at 9:31 AM and our next flight leaves at 11:20 AM. Both are on Delta. Is that enough time?
That is enough time if the first flight is on-time. All you have to do in LGA is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. All Delta gates are connected inside security.
Arriving on a Delta connection (Endeavor) into LGA at 9:14pm from Milwaukee and flying out also on Delta Connection (Endeavor) at 9:50 to Manchester, NH. Looks like terminal C? Is this enough time? Do I need to take a bus from arrival area to departure area?
Yes, both flights will likely be in Terminal C. That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly. You don't have to take a bus.
Actually one or both of your flights may also be in Terminal D, but C and D are connected inside security by a walkway.
