At LGA, Terminals TC & TD are close together (and shall soon be connected). A transportation information center is in the arrivals area of each terminal.

On arrival at LGA at Terminal C you have the option of simply walking over to your connecting Terminal D, as they are close together. Also, a free shuttle bus (Routes A or B) runs every 10-15 mins.

Terminals C & D, while not connected inside, are close together. If your first airline transfers your bags to your second airline, all you need to do is exit TC, walk over to TD, proceed to security check & on to your gate. If bags are not being transferred, you need to claim them at TC & re-check them in at TD. I suggest you open www.ifly.com/lga then click on 'Terminal Map' under QUICK LINKS and scroll down to the detailed text.

At LGA, Terminal B has on the Arrivals level the baggage claim, and food court in the center (transportation information booths at either side). You can meet them at the Food Court or, if you know the flight number of their arriving carrier, at the baggage carousel (overhead screens will indicate airline & flight number).

Actually you arrive at Atlanta Airport from GIG at its South Terminal, where you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). This will take about 30-45 mins. Delta should have a lounge facility in the secured area. When going through customs check, inquire shower options. You stay in the same terminal for your connecting Delta flight and you will arrive in New York's La Guardia Airport at the Marine Terminal A via Delta Shuttle - ground transportation counters are on th Arrivals level for information on New York & New Jersey travel.

In general you can take a collapsible stroller either (a) up to the entrance door of the plane, where the attendant will store it in the hull with return on arrival; or (b) bring it into the plane if it fits into the overhead bin or under your feet. Contact your airline.
