Interfaith Chapel St. Louis Airport Interfaith Chaplaincy, Inc. was founded as a not for profit corporation in 1985. Construction of the current chapel was completed in early 1991. The Airport Interfaith Chapel currently has 16 volunteer chaplains. The Chaplaincy each year holds on average 580 Protestant and Catholic services. Chaplaincy also maintains prayer rugs to be used by travelers of the Muslim faith.
