Carry-on Baggage Rules & Fees Allowed Onboard: One carry-on bag with dimensions up to 55x35x25cm, and up to 8kg for Economy /16kg for Premium Business & Premium Economy classes. An additional personal item, either a handbag, laptop or diaper bag. Baggage exceeding these limits are sent to the aircraft hold. All on-board baggage must fit either under the seat in front of you or in the overhead bin.
Checked Baggage Rules & Fees Regulations depend on route and cabin class. 1. On connecting flights different rules may apply; LAN uses the higher baggage allowance for (a) in case of connection, an intermediate stop of less than 24 hrs; in case of stopover, an intermediate stop of more than 24 hrs (from point of departure to final destination only if route corresponds to a single purchase). 2. Baggage above the stated allowances incur excess baggage charges. 3. Traveling with infant under 2 years, one bag up to 23kg, plus, if space permits, a foldable stroller, or bassinet, or car seat (otherwise goes into the aircraft holding area).
