McCarran Airport in Las Vegas is one of the country's major Airports, offering domestic and international flights with connections around the globe. A less hectic Airport is Laughlin/Bullhead, 72.4 miles away and situated in bordering Arizona.
1. Las Vegas McCarran International Airport LAS is located in Paradise, five miles south of the central business district of Las Vegas (between I-15 & I-515), and is less than a mile from the famous Las Vegas Strip and minutes from all the big hotels. The Airport serves the City of Las Vegas and the surrounding Clark County in Southern Nevada. It has two terminals--Terminal 1 is the domestic terminal with concourses A-D and an Esplanade leading to all gates, while Terminal 2 serves as international terminal. McCarran has four runways and serves as focus city for Allegiant, Southwest and US Airways. A multitude of domestic and international airlines offer direct and connecting flights to all points of the globe. 44 million passengers passed through this airport in 2008. The Airport offers an array of restaurants and shops, as well as free internet access throughout both Terminals. Gambling can start right at McCarran, which has 1,300 slot machines throughout its terminals, and the Airport welcomes you to fabulous Las Vegas with slot machines around every corner and big billboards touting the latest must-see shows. If you're still confused about where you are, just look out the window - LAS airport is right next to the Strip. In fact, if you're flying in at night on the east to west approach sit on the right side of the plane for an awesome view of Vegas' bright lights decadence. Passengers complain about long security lines, so know when to fold 'em and head to Las Vegas airport early.

Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport IFP --located 72.4 miles from McCarran Airport--is a full service regional airport located just east of the Colorado River in the northern section of Bullhead City, Arizona. Commercial airlines serving the Airport are Allegiant and Sun Country--with its southwestern hub located in Bullhead City. It is also offers many private charters. Sunfest Tours flies to/from Calgary and Edmonton, Canada, during ski season January 24-April 4. Several Laughlin Casinos have partnerships with airlines to provide direct flights into the Airport. Many of these flights offer package deals, which include hotel rooms. Check with your casino for flight/hotel specials. Private Flight Information: The Mohave County Airport Authority operates a 24-hour fueling station (100LL Jet A Fuel) for your convenience. Car rentals and free shuttle service is also available.
