Lehigh Valley ABE Airport Overview

Lehigh Valley International Airport ABE can be a convenient alternative to Newark or Philadelphia airports for area residents, offering an uncrowded, comfortable and secure passenger terminal with quick access to the gates. Even with a stop at the ticket counter, it usually takes only 15-20 minutes from the time you park your car until you arrive at the gate.

The Airport is located 3 miles from Allentown, in Hanover township, Lehigh County, between Allentown and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and is easily accessible from Interstate 78 and Route 22.

With 2 runways and 627,000 passengers in 2012 (an estimated 20 percent drop over 2011),  Lehigh Valley International Airport is served by by major U.S. airlines, including some low-cost carriers, offering direct flights to major US cities located in the eastern part of the country, with connections around the world.
