LNK Airport Overview
Lincoln Airport LNK is located just off Interstate 80 (Exit 399) in the City of Lincoln, and is the nearest airport for most of the State of Nebraska. Delta and United Airlines offer daily direct flights to Minneapolis, Chicago & Denver, with connections worldwide. Only 48 miles southeast of Omaha, Nebraska's largest city, the Airport offers for many residents a more convenient and economical alternative.
The passenger terminal offers a deli for fast food or snack, a news stand and a gift shop. Other amenities are: a customer service center, a rental car counter, an ATM machine, fee-based WiFi connections via HotSpot, free luggage carts, a mail box, telephones and TDDs.
Gate 1 Parking includes the following options: a Parking Garage and a Short-term lot are right opposite the passenger terminal, the North Economy Lot is right next to the Parking Garage, and the South Economy Lot is next to the Short-Term Lot & opposite the Air Freight building. Because of the short distances from parking to passenger terminal and to your gate, you use a third of the time it takes at larger airports, and you pay less for parking. Disabled parking is available in each parking facility. Visa, Mastercard & American Express accepted.
To get from the Airport to your destination, you can rent a car, take a taxi or hotel shuttle, or the Eppley Express (1-800-888-9793), which makes daily trips between the airport and seven cities in Nebraska.
The close-by City of Lincoln is the second-largest community in the state with a quarter of a million residents, and is perhaps Nebraska’s most progressive and fastest-growing city in the Midwest. Lincoln is home to several national corporations and local businesses, as well as the University of Nebraska.
