Security checkpoints at BOS Airport are staffed by the Federal Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Even though the Airport tries to keep lines moving quickly and within a 15-minute time slot, there are times (morning /evening rush hours, summer travel) when there will be long lines - therefore it is recommended to arrive 2-3 hours prior to scheduled departure.
