Hi my wife and LO is flying from Kathmandu, Nepal (via Fly Dubai) to Dubai and Dubai to Boston (Emirates). They have a connecting flight from Boston to PITT (Jet Airways). Does she has to go for baggage claim and recheck in at Boston Airport? I am also not sure if there are any help if some one carry a baby? Kindly advice what is the procedure for baggage? Is it okay if she will claim the baggage at PITT? Thanks in advance!
Jet Airways flies in India. is her flight to Pittsburgh on JetBlue? Is it on the same reservation as her Emirates flight? She will have to claim her bags in Boston to go through US Customs. There is no assistance for carrying babies.
Hello, I am landing with Wesjet from Toronto (pre cleared immigration) and connecting to Emirates. The transit time is approx 2 hours. Is this enough time? Will I need to collect baggage even though I have already pre-cleared customs/immigration in Toronto for the USA. How long is the shuttle or train to the other Terminal? Thanks.
Are your flights on one reservation or two separate reservations?
My flights are all one ticket and reservation.
Then all you have to do is go from Terminal A to Terminal C and go through security. You have plenty of time.
Hello, I am arriving att Terminal E at Logan on emirates and need to connect Jet Blue in Terminal C. Are the terminals connected? How long is the walk.
Yes, the terminals are connected, but once you clear US Customs you'll be outside security anyway, so you'll have to go through security to get to your departure gate. I suggest walking outside to Terminal 3 and going through security there.
I am arriving in Boston from Ponta Delgada on SATA on Sep 27 at 17:00. My JetBlue flight from Boston to Orlando leaves at 18:11. Will that leave us enough time? The JetBlue agent I spoke to said we really needed an 1.5 hours but may make it.
That's not a realistic connection, especially if you have checked bags. SATA also isn't really known for being on-time.
Planning to arrive Boston at 1405 hrs by QR743V ( terminal E) and I have connecting flight to STL at 1709 hrs ( terminal B) . Will this halt time of 3hrs sufficient to checkout luggage , clear customs and recheck in?
Quick response would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
That should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I have a flight from Portugal to Chicago with a layover in between. Alternatively, I bought an earlier flight from the layover location to Chicago, allowing me to reach my destination faster. I thought of asking the check-in desk at my original airport to check my luggage only to the layover location. But, if for some reason I were to let my luggage go on th flight I'm not on (the one part of the package Portugal - layover - Chicago) and arrives to O'Hare a day after me, would i be allowed to enter the airport and collect it? Or would that be a difficult thing?
I can't answer your question without knowing where "layover" is and what airlines you are flying.
Hi Arriving in Terminal E on an international flight tonight with my 2 year old, and a buggy and 2 bags. Are there porters or Logan Airport staff at baggage claim who can help us get out to meet the taxi? Thanks!
No, porters are not allowed in the International baggage claim.
Hi; I need some advice here I have been booked on a Cape Air flight arriving into boston at 15:27, and have a Lufthansa flight from Boston to Frankfurt at 16:30. I have no bags, and assuming I am already checked-in, is the connection doable?
I really doubt Cape Air will be able to issue your Lufthansa boarding pass. You will have to change terminals and go through security. I think this is very difficult, borderline impossible.
