Terminal E flight lands at 5:10 pm Terminal C flight departs at 6:55 pm Enough time?

Barely, assuming your Turkish flight is on-time, everything goes smoothly at immigration, and you runt o Terminal C.

Will I need to go through security again???

Yes, you will, no terminals in Boston are connected inside security.

I am flying into Logan on Southwest (TA) and connecting on Jet Blue (TC) with only a carry on (the reverse on my return trip). Will I have to go through security again when I get to TC? Is it faster to use the walkways or the shuttle bus.

Yes, you will have to go through security again in Terminal C. It's probably faster to walk.

I will be landing at terminal A by southwest airline and a couple of my friends will land at terminal E by Emirates. We all plan to take a cab together. What is the best way for us to meet? Is there a way to reach terminal E from A without leaving the airport? All of us will be in international roaming so we are not sure if our cell phones will be working so we want to finalize a location to assemble beforehand. What would you suggest?

There are walkways outdoors that connect all the terminals. I suggest you walk to terminal E and meet them at the exit of Customs.

  • 41 minutes too short?

Have a connection in Boston Logan on jetBlue, it's only 41 minutes. Both flights are jetBlue, (JFK > BOS > RDU). Too short?

It's possible if the first flight is on-time. All Jetblue gates are in the same area.

In August, mid-week, we will arrive from Shannon, Ireland. We have about 2 hours 15 minutes before our next flight on Southwest. This is a separate ticket. Will this be enough time for customs, baggage claim, different terminal and re-checking? Thanks!

That would be barely enough time if your flight from Shannon is on-time.

Arriving from Munich in E w/ 2hr.10 min before USAir departs from B. I'll have to take my bag to USAir counter in B to check it, but Do I have to go back through TSA after checking my bag in B? I'm worried about timing. thanks for your info

Yes, you will have to go through security after re-checking your bag in Terminal B. You should have enough time if your flight from Munich is on-time.

  • Terminal E to C

I am arriving to BOS Terminal E with Turkish Airlines at 17:00. I have a separate ticket with Jet Blue departing Terminal C at 19:30. I will have checked luggage. Is that enough time? If both tickets can be purchased on the same itinerary, does that save me time? On the return leg, I have a similar gap (2.5 hours this time) on the return trip, arriving with Jet Blue to Terminal C, and changing to Turkish Airlines International departure at Terminal E. Is that enough time?

Yes, if you purchase both tickets on the same itinerary you will be able to re-check your bags at the re-check desk in Terminal E instead of having to take them to the check-in desk in Terminal C and you won't have to pay a checked bag fee on Jetblue. Both connections should be sufficient.

  • Enough layover time ?

Hi I'm a European citizen and I have a flight from Amsterdam to Boston and then from Boston to Columbus, I have to get my baggage and go through customs and check-in my baggage again and I only have 1 hour and 40 minutes of layover time, can I make it in time ? from Terminal E to terminal A ?

Yes, that should be barely enough time assuming your tickets were purchased together on one reservation and you can re-check your bags in Terminal E.

  • Connection Terminal E-Terminal B

Hi, I am a European citizen and I will arrive from Paris on terminal E at 2:15pm. I have a connection flight to DC in terminal B at 4:00 pm. I purchased the tickets together. Is it enough time ? Do I have to re-checked my luggage? Thank you in advance !

Yes, that should be enough time. Yes, upon arrival in Terminal E you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, and re-check your bags at the re-check desk.

I thought the luggage would be automatically transferred to the other plane. Is it because there is a terminal change (both flights are with AA)?

It is because it is an international arrival and all passengers on international arrivals must claim their bags to go through US Customs.

  • Connecting from Toronto to Ireland through Boston

I am due to arrive into Boston at 19.45 on 23/12/15 on Air Canada leaving at 9pm on Aer Lingus from terminal E on a single code share ticket sold to me by the airline. Is this sufficent time

Yes, that should be enough time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto and your bags should be checked through to Ireland. You just have to walk to Terminal E and go through security.

  • Changing from terminal E to B1

Hello everyone and thanks in advance for your responses! I'm travelling through SATA so I expect I'll be landing on terminal E and then I'll be travelling with Alaska Air/Pen Air which implies I'll be flying out of terminal B1. Now, I only have 45 minutes in between flights, otherwise I'll be stranded for the night. Has anyone been able to change from terminal E to B1 in under 45 minutes?

No, since you will have to clear US Immigration, claim your bags, and clear customs after arrival, there is no way you can get your bags to Penair in-time. Plan on spending the night in Boston.

  • Connection from United to Air Canada is 36 Minutes

I am on a United flight from Chicago ORD, connection to Halifax YHZ . I arrive at 9:24 and connection departs at 10:00 am. Flight is AC 8894 X. Is this possible?

Note that both flights are United. Yes, that should be enough time if your first flight is on-time.

Sorry, disregard that past post, where are you connecting?

I bailed out. Called United and complained that it was unlikely I would make it. ....so free of charge they rebooked me San Diego, LAX to Newark EWR on to Halifax.. Score one for United.

  • Terminal change

I am travelling from cincinnati to Boston, after landing in boston i have a paris flight to catch and i have 1:37 min lay over. Is this time sufficient to change the flights?

What airlines are you flying? Did you purchase your tickets together or separately? Will you have checked bags?

I am flying in Air france. Tickets were purchased together. Yes i will have 1 checked baggage.

So your first flight will be operated by Delta. You will arrive in Terminal A and depart from Terminal E, which are at opposite sides of the airport. However, there is a walkway that connects Terminals A in E in about 5 minutes or you can take a shuttle bus, which would take a bit longer. You will have to go through security once you reach Terminal E. You should have enough time if your first flight is on-time. https://www.massport.com/logan-airport/inside-the-airport/terminals/

Also note that your flight to Paris may also be operated by Delta. If it is you will just have to walk to your departure gate, also in A.

Should i need to re check in the baggage at boston in terminal 2E? And if i take the walkway to reach terminal 2E instead of bus would i will be able to reach faster. So would this be suffcinet to catch the paris flight?

It's terminal E, not "2E". Your baggage should be checked through to Paris in Cincinnati, you won't have to claim it and re-check it in Boston. Assuming you are able to walk somewhat quickly, the walkway would almost certainly be faster than the bus. Yes, you should have enough time.

Thanks a lot . Thats ease my worry.
