JetBlue says they have agreement w sata and can check bags thru avoiding going thru security again if sata also can check thru on the way home? We fly home from terceira to bos landing at 14:55 and have 6:23 to D.C. Is it reciprocal if JetBlue could do it coming here and can you verify terminal is the same (both listed as in terminal e). Thanks!!

  • Term C to Term B

I will arrive on Aer Lingus (Pre-Clear) and have a connecting flight with United. So can I connect Term C to Term B airside or will I have to re-entre security in Term B? Thanks

You will have to go through security again in B. B and C aren't connected inside security.

    Thanks for responding quickly

  • Connecting flight from Boston

I will be travelling with my family from Detroit to Dubai via. Boston. My flight(Jetblue) will reach Boston at 9pm and later flight(Emirates) to Dubai is at 10:20pm, Wanted to know if we would have sufficient time to board our connecting flight at 10:20pm, considering the boarding will stop 20-30 mins before. Also I hope I don't need to go through security again at Boston?

Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do in Boston is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

  • Transfer of Luggage

I have a single reservation for a flight from Toronto to Boston on WestJet and then Boston to Dubai on Emirates. We just noticed we land in one terminal and leave from another, do I need to try to find my bags and transfer them myself?

If it's one reservation then your bags should be tagged through. You just need to walk or take the shuttle to Terminal C and go through security.

  • Recheck Bags / Security During Layover?
    Jan 7, 2017

I am looking to book flights from Baltimore to Barcelona. We would fly via JetBlue from BWI, then transfer to Azores Airlines at BOS. The layover is only 1 hour 28 minutes. We would have 1 checked bag. Since we are changing airlines and flying internationally, would we need to recheck bags and go through security? I know that this layover would not be enough for all that, but if we just have to change terminals with no extra security or bag checks, would we make it? Thanks!

Is it one reservation or two separate reservations?

I am fairly certain it is a single reservation. It was an option I found through Kayak, which sent me to justfly.com to book the flights together.

Then you don't have to claim and re-check your bags, JetBlue will hopefully be able to issue your Azores boarding pass in BWI. If they can you can just walk to your departure gate.

I am arriving on a Jetblue flight into Boston and have 2 hours until an Emirates flight. Will my baggage be passed automatically or will I have to claim it and recheck?

If both flights are on the same reservation and your JetBlue flight is domestic, yes, your bags will be transferred automatically.

  • Enough time between arrival and departure times?

Hi, I am flying in from Halifax Canada on Air Canada 15th August arriving Terminal B Boston at 17.13. My flight to London is with BA departing at 1920 from Terminal E. Is this enough time to clear immigration and customs in time to make the 19.20 flight?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Halifax. You just have to claim your bags from Air Canada, take them to Terminal E, re-check with British Airways, and go through security. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

I\m about to book a flight via Bos to Mco with Delta. The layover is 2 hrs and 30 minutes. is that enough time to clear immigration and get from terminal E to A? landing is 1223 pm, so is it that a busy period or not?

Yes, that should be enough time.

I arrive from Newark on Jet Blue and have 1:40 to make connecting El Al flight to Israel. Is that enough time, are they in the same terminals and do we have to go through security again?

If the tickets are on the same reservation you just have to walk from your arrival gate in C to your departure gate in E. They are connected inside security. You have enough time. If it's two separate reservations you do not have enough time.

Hey! I have a flight landing in Boston from Iceland (WOW Air) at 435. I need to get back to Austin the same night, and the only flight that I can find is a 6:20 flight on JetBlue. I am not going to have any checked bags. Will this be enough time to get through Customs and catch the flight??

Yes, it's possible if the WOW flight is on-time. However, they're known for NOT being on-time.

Hi, We (3 pers) are arriving BOS Terminal B at 2:55pm on 14 January 2017 from DFW with AA (AA176). Connecting flight is from Terminal E at 6pm with WoW Air (WW126). We are having 3 hand luggage and 3 check-in luggage. Will we have enough time for connecting? If Do we walk or use shuttle? Thanks

You can walk or take a shuttle. You should have enough time.

Thanks ZAP...With "enough" time, this mean we need to run or we can take it in normal tempo?

    Normal tempo.

Thanks - just to be on the safe side then we will need to check-in the luggage (drop bags) as we will check-in online. Still - we got the time? :)

    Yes, you should.

  • DUB-BOS-DCA 1 hr carry-ons only. Possible?

I will fly into BOS @ 19:40 and have a connection with AA @ 21:00. Will I be able to get from terminal C and back into terminal B in time to board my flight? This will be on March 19 so St. Patty's weekend.

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Dublin. That should be enough time if the flight from Dublin arrives on-time and you are already checked in for your flight to DCA.

Thanks ZAP! That's what I was thinking but wanted to confirm.

  • Passing through Boston on the way back from Portugal.
    Dec 28, 2016

Hello, We are flying back from Portugal and scheduled to land in Boston at 5:55pm. I'm looking at two flights back to DFW on American - one at 7:15pm (direct) and one at 7:45pm (with a 3 hour layover). As I've never been through Boston, not sure if the 7:15 would be enough time? Or the 7:45 for that matter? We will be switching airlines of course, but I plan to check in with American before arriving in Boston. Any thoughts/suggestions would be much appreciated... I appreciate the help!

7:15 would be pretty difficult if you have checked bags. 7:45 would be easier. Personally I'd just spend the night in Boston and fly to DFW in the morning.

  • Connecting flight via boston

Hello, I am flying from Detroit to Boston on 28th Dec. I arrive at Boston at 8 am and my connecting flight to Dubai is at 10:55 am. I would be checking in my bags at Detroit. So I'll only have a cabin bag and a hand bag with me when I arrive at Boston. I wish to quickly visit my friends during this short layover. I will need to go out of the airport and come back in to catch my flight to Dubai (I have a US Visa and Ill be visiting my friends outside the airport. I should be a quick 15-20 min one). Is this possible? If yes, can anyone please comment on the extra security checks I need to go through to do this? Will I have sufficient time?

Yes, that is possible. You will have to go back through security to get to your departure gate after visiting your friends, but it is just regular security.

  • Cleveland to Boston Connection

I'm planning on arriving to Boston at 8:35PM from Cleveland (terminal C), hoping to catch a connecting flight for 9:45 Swiss Airlines (terminal E) in Boston. I'm planning on getting Global Entry and no check-in bags, can I make it? The flight will be in March, please advise!

Are you purchasing two separate reservations or is it on one reservation? If you can check in online for your Swiss flight you can make it but if you can't check in online and it's two separate reservations that will be tough.

it'll be two separate reservations, however, I can check in online for the Swiss flight. Is that still possible?
