I am arriving on AF terminal E at 6:25pm. Knowing that I will need to clear customs and immigrations before I head to terminal B to catch my 8:40pm domestic flight back to LAX how much time do I need? Do i have a chance?

Yes, I think you have a good chance.

    thank you ZAP!

  • Flying from MSP to BOS then going to Quebec on Air Canada

Flying from MSP on Delta, then flying from BOS to Quebec on Air Canada. Have 1 hr 20 min between flights. Do we have enough time to make Air Canada flight? What about customs?

You will go through Canadian Immigration and Customs when you get to Canada. To make your connection you will have to walk from Terminal A to Terminal B and go through security. You should check in online for your Air Canada flight.

You should have barely enough time if your first flight is on-time.

    Thanks

  • only 45 minute connection

flying from Halifax, Nova Scotia, canada to orlando. Flights were not great, we only have 45 minutes to connect in Boston. We fly Air Canada Jazz from Halifax to Boston, then have 45 minutes to catch a United flight from Boston to Newark. Will this be enough time? Do we have to go through customs? Do we have to change terminals.

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Halifax. Both Air Canada and United use Terminal B. However, Air Canada uses a small annex of Terminal B that is not connected to the rest of the terminal Inside security. So you will have to go through security. You should have enough time if your flight is on-time but you'll be in trouble if you're delayed.

Is it possible to make a connection from Icelandair Fl631 arriving at 5:40pm to a usairways Fl224 leaving for Chicago at 7:55pm.

It will be very very difficult. First, note that your flight to Chicago will likely be operated by American. Secondly You will have to change terminals, re-check your bags, and go through security. It's possible if you don't have checked bags and you check in for your flight to Chicago before leaving Iceland, but will be very difficult any other way.

You'll arrive at terminal E, and depart from terminal B if US airways or American. I would think two hours should be plenty of time, especially if you've a) booked both flights on the same reservation, and b) check in online first. Bonus if you're US Global Entry. Might take too long if you have a 'suspicious' passport/visa from elsewhere. You'll need to clear US customs, get your bag, and leave it at the luggage desk at the customs exit -- IF your bags are checked all the way through. Then just catch a free shuttle to terminal B. They run often, and terminal B will be the 2nd stop (after terminal A.)

  • Terminal B to Terminal E in 62 minutes

Hi, I am flying into BOS (6:18pm) from CLE TB , and have to catch a Aer lingus flight to Shannon at 7:20pm TE. 1 hour and 2 mins. Is this doable?

Were your tickets purchased separately or together? If purchased separately and you have checked bags it's impossible. If you purchased together or if you don't have checked bags it's possible if you can check in for your Aer Lingus flight online before travel, but you won't make it to TE before the checkin cutoff. Even then it's very risky.

Hi, Thank you for your response. I purchased them together. would it be advisable to book a earlier flight from CLE?

I am flying from turkish air terminal E and then catching flight of jet blue to detroit, layover is 2 hr, is that time enough ? will the luggage transfer or we need to take it out and go through the custom and recheck again.

It will be very difficult to make that connection. You will have to claim your baggage after US Immigration, then go through US Customs, then if your bags are tagged through to DTW by Turkish you can re-check again with JetBlue in Terminal E, but otherwise you will have to take them with you to Terminal C to check with JetBlue. You will also have to go through security again when you get to Terminal C.

    Thanks a lot

  • Terminal B to Terminal C in 1 Hour 35 minutes no checked bags

How would I get from Terminal B to Terminal C

There are plenty of free shuttles amongst all the terminals at Logan. The first stop after getting on at terminal B will be terminal C. Easy. 5 minutes tops.

  • How much time do I need from baggage claim term C to check In Term b

I have a flight on Virgin Airlines that lands 5:40am from LAX in terminal B then I have a flight on JetBlue at 7:25 in terminal C. Do I have enough time to get bags, get to terminal C and check in?

You don't go through customs in rome as both France and Italy are in the Schengen area. You will arrive in T1 and depart from T3. You should have enough time.

  • RIC to BOS to LHR, 42 min layover
    May 26, 2014

Hi, I'm flying RIC to BOS and then have only 42 minutes before my flight to LHR. I don't fly much, so I didn't pay attention to that short layover, but now I'm worried. Is there a chance this is enough time? Both my flight arriving in BOS and flight leaving to LHR are in terminal A; will I need to pass through security again? I haven't packed yet but am trying to make it will no checked bags, just a carry-on. Thanks...

And both flights are through Delta...

At BOS Delta uses Terminal A for all but its international arrivals. TA's main terminal has departure gates A1-A12 and a Satellite with gates A13-A22, both of which are connected via underground walkway. you have enough transfer time.

Hi! I'm flying Delta from LHR to BOS and on to JFK, with a 1hr 45 layover. Is that enough time? I know I'll arrive into terminal E and depart from A - how long is the walk? Will it be easier if I try to take only carry on? What do I do if I miss the connection? I've heard terrible things about Delta!

There are no post-security transfers at BOS. Terminal A /TA is south of TE. After passport control, customs clearance & baggage re-check, use TE's level 3 bridge to TA (5-7 mins), go through security check and on to your gate. With customs /baggage re-check (regardless whether US Citizen or foreigner) you may not make it in time if arriving at rush hours -with only a carry-on bag, you save time. Shuttles 11 & 55 make their round between the terminals outside of the baggage claim area.

Thanks! It was fine in the end as my inbound arrived a little earlier than scheduled and the line at immigration wasn't too long (but very slow) which took about an hour. Then took bus 11 which had me at terminal A in minutes. Outbound was of course delayed but I would've made it anyway.

  • Time needed ... Terminal C to Terminal E

I am flying Jet Blue from Richmond, VA arriving in Terminal C and then departing on Are Lingus from Boston to Dublin in Terminal E. I have 1 hour 20 minutes between flights. Is this enough time? I know that I will have to go through security again in TE. What's the usual wait time for security at TE. My flight to Dublin departs at 6:15pm.

It should be enough time. You shouldn't have to do anything with your bags and JetBlue should be able to issue both boarding passes in Richmond.

Flying from NY to Logan and catching a flight on SATA to Portugal. 1 hour 45 layover at Logan. That enough time or should I change initial flight?

Will you have checked bags? What airline are you flying to BOS? I would probably want more time.

Airline is not booked yet to Boston. Want to check before I book the initial flight. I assume I will book either Jet Blue/Delta to Logan and SATA to Portugal. Flight gets to Logan at 8:20, departs at 10:05. I am not sure how the bags work, I am beginning to think that we will have to pick up the luggage in Logan and that the bags will not transfer automatically.

Yes, you will probably have to transfer the bags yourself. I would leave 2.5 hours to make your transfer, so if your SATA flight departs at 10:05 I'd want to arrive before 7:35.

  • Connection time in Logan

I am flying Aer Lingus from Dublin to Boston and then connecting to jetblue to fly to Washington DC. It seems that I have to collect my bags,go through customs, make my way from terminal E to terminalC, check in my bag at the jetblue counter, and make my way to the connecting flight. I have 2 hours 20 minutes between flights. Is this enough time?

Use Dublin Airport's U.S. Pre-Clearance service at Terminal 2 near gates 401-406, saving time upon arrival at the U.S. If you bought both flights on one ticket, your bags will be automatically transferred to JetBlue flight - if not, you would have to claim your bags & check them in with JetBlue. International arrivals use Terminal E; JetBlue uses Terminal C for its domestic flights. You can walk over or take the shuttle bus, either way you need to go through security check at TC, before proceeding to your connecting gate. you have plenty of time!
