  • Connecting from Terminal E to Terminal B
    Oct 6, 2015
Iarrive on AirFrance from Paris in Terminal E Nov 6 at 6:10 PM. Do I have enough time to make a United flight, Terminal B, 8:35 PM , to Newark ? Thanks !

    That should be enough time.

  • American Terminal B to Jet Blue Terminal C
    Oct 6, 2015
I have an 3:28 pm arrival on American on Sun oct. 11th and a 4:30 pm flight to catch on Jet Blue in Terminal C. If there enough time to walk and get through security and catch the flight. No checked luggage.

It should be enough time if the first flight is ontime.

  • YYZ to SFO
    Oct 2, 2015
Im flying from Toronto to San Francisco, connecting in Boston. I have 1.5 hour to connect but it seems like my flight from Toronto on average delays by 30 min. Is 1 hour enough for me to connect? Do I have to go through customs again? I will only have carry-on

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. What airlines are you flying?

Air Canada from YYZ to BOS. United from BOS to SFO. Is it possible to transfer in 1hour?

Yes, that should be just about enough time.

  • What is a reasonable time to clear Immigration/Customs
    Oct 1, 2015
Hi, I am arriving into BOS on a Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt at 2:35pm on a Saturday. I then plan to connect onward on a ticket purchased separately. My choices are a 4:05pm JetBlue flight or a 4:35 Southwest flight. Are either of those timeframes possible to claim bags, clear immigration/customs, go back through security and re-check bags for the next flight? Thanks!

I would want more than 2 hours personally.

  • Connection from Terminal A to Terminal E (1 hr 15 mins)
    Sep 30, 2015
We arrive at Terminal A at 2020 on a flight from La Guardia (NY) on 5/1/16. Our outbound flight from Terminal E is 2135, travelling to London Heathrow. Is 1 hour 15 enough time to make the connecting flight and will we have to go through immigration before leaving BOS? The flights have been booked together as one ticket with Virgin Atlantic, but with a Delta codeshare for the first NY to Boston flight. Does this mean we will not have to collect our checked luggage and re-check in? Thanks for any help!

Your bags will be checked through to London. There is no US Immigration when leaving the US. You just have to walk from Terminal A to E and go through security. You should have enough time.

  • Azores to Boston to SFO
    Sep 28, 2015
We fly from Azores to Boston and get in at 4:45. 6:49 connecting flight to SFO on Virgin American. Both flights purchased at the same time. Do we need to go through customs? Will we have enough time to get from T E to terminal B and go through security again? Thank you for any information you can provide as we have had some bad experiences with these kinds of connections.

Yes, in Terminal E you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through Customs, and if your bags are tagged through to SFO re-check them at the re-check desk, then you have to go to Terminal B and go through security. This will be a difficult connection as SATA is not known for being on-time.

  • Walk time from B to E
    Sep 27, 2015
We arrive at terminal B from Montreal at 12 h 10. Our next flight for Tokyo is in terminal E at 13 h 20. Are we going to have enough time? How long is the walk? Do we go through security?

Were your tickets bought on one reservation or separately? You will have to go through security in Terminal E.

We are landing in Boston from Iceland at 5:40 and need to make a connecting flight to Detroit flying delta at 6:30. Is this possible?

    No, that is not possible.

  • Delta
    Sep 21, 2015
Hi, we arrive with Delta from LAX on the 02. april and have 55 minutes time to get the Delta departure to Amsterdam. It`s an offer form KLM, is this safe?

Yes, that should be enough time. You just have to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal A.

  • Jet blue to Cape Air
    Sep 17, 2015
Hi - is one hour enough time to get to the Cape Air departure area from Jet Blue. In other words, is a one hour layover safe?

Yes, that should be enough time.

  • Transferring from Paris via Boston to NY (in October)
    Sep 16, 2015
Hi, we will be arriving in terminal E at 6.25PM and departing from terminal A at 8PM. Our flight is operated entirely by Air France, but from Boston we connect with Delta airlines. We are part of the ESTA program and we do not bring any checked baggage. Is 1h35min enough time to connect between the terminals and go through security etc?

That should be enough time as long as your flight from Paris is on-time. In October it will still be warm enough to walk from Terminal E to Terminal A. You will have to go through security in Terminal A.

  • Connecting flights
    Sep 13, 2015
Hello. I was wondering if you know I will be able to arrive at in Boston with JetBlue at 4.50pm from savannah and and catch a flight with WOW air that is going to Iceland at 5.55pm?

No, I don't think that would be possible. You may not be able to check in for your Wow flight online and there's no way you could transfer bags that quickly. But even without checked bags, I don't think it's possible.

  • Transferring from Montreal
    Sep 10, 2015
Hi. We're flying in from Montreal, landing at 19:57 on Air Canada, we then fly out to Reykjavik on Iceland Air at 21:30, is this enough time? Do we need to collect our hold luggage and check it in again? , or will it be transferred automatically? Thanks for the help Andrew

If you purchased two separate reservations you will have to claim your baggage from Air Canada, take it to Terminal E and re-check it with Icelandair. You barely have enough time to do this.

We booked our journey as one ticket, it ha's a final leg on to Manchester as well, which is our final destination. We do land in Terminal B, and take off from Terminal E. As it is one ticket, should our luggage be transferred automatically? Do we need to go back through any security? Thank you for your help

Yes, then if all tickets were purchased together then your bags should be checked through to Manchester and you just have to walk from Terminal B to Terminal E and go through security.

That's great. Thank you do much for the help

  • Connecting international to domestic
    Sep 8, 2015
I have a flight arriving in Boston from Reykjavik at 5:30pm on Wow air and was wondering if it would be possible to make it through customs and onto a Jetblue flight to San Francisco leaving at 7:19pm? I would be travelling with a carry on bag only.

With Carry-On only I think that would be possible if you check in online for your JetBlue flight before you leave Iceland and hurry when you get to Boston.
