Hello, I have a flight from Vienna to Boston arriving at Logan at 3:05 PM. Then I have another (new ticket) flight from Boston to Atlanta departing at 7:55 PM. Will that be enough time to go through customs, collect bags and transport from international to domestic terminal? Thank you.
Hi- I have a flight coming from Azores at 5:00 pm on a Monday evening. The latest flight I can find to the west coast (Redmond, Oregon) is at 6:55. Will I be able to clear customs and make it to Terminal C from E in that amount of time? Thank you!!!
That would be very difficult, especially if you have checked bags.
When I bought my Aer Lingus ticket back in January, for a July 20th flight from Richmond, VA to BOS, and then onto Shannon, I was not aware BOS would be re-paving. The problem is my RIC flight arrives as the SNN flight is getting ready to depart or has already departed. Since I bought the ticket through Aer Lingus for both flights (JetBlue codeshare), what are the odds I will miss the flight to SNN? I mean WTH, the airline sells them as a package, what are the odds they would hold a flight for late arrivals due to paving???
What are the exact arrival and departure times you currently have?
Arrival at BOS from RIC is 5:15 PM and departure from BOS to SNN is 7:15 PM; two hours between flights. These delays due to paving are quite significant and clearly were not planned by the carrier Aer Lingus, but they sold me the ticket back in January. They did on May 2nd delay the BOS to SNN flight by 30 minutes via an email sent to flyers/customers, probably thinking it would be enough time for these re-paving delays but it does not appear to be enough time; hence my concern.
You should have plenty of time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Boston.
hi looking at flights to and from miami with (BA) but on return it is miami to boston with 2hr wait then on to london heathrow will 2 hrs be enough time and will we have to get our bags to check for london flight thanks
Is it one reservation or two separate reservations? If it's one reservation you don't have to do anything with your bags in Boston on the way to London - just go to Terminal E and through security. That is enough time.
Hi thinks Its just one reservation if am right booked all together gla-mia and mia-gla but with stops sorry long day trying to find decent flights Thanks for reply
Hi, I'm looking at Jetblue Airways flights from New Orleans (MSY) to Boston, then on to Dublin on July 18th by Aerlingus. One of the cheapest option has only a 1hr 36 min layover. Does this good for parents travelling in a wheel chair? Not sure what gates they would be in...any kind of help is very much appreciated, thanks. [ reply ]
You would both arrive and depart from Terminal C. That is enough time if both flights are on the same reservation.
Hi ZAP, one more question if the return flight I choose through DUBLIN>Washington IAD>MSY New Orleans with just 1 hr 40 min lay over, is this sufficient ?
Yes, that is enough time. They will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Dublin.
Arriving from Orlando into Boston on a Delta flight - we have a 58 minute layover before departing to Heathrow - from what I can gather we will land at gate A10 and depart from gate A16 - is 58 mins enough time, I'm stressing?
Yes, that's plenty of time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate which should take less than 5 minutes.
I am flying from Rockland, ME on Cape Air to connect to a domestic Delta flight within a timespan of 1hr 10 minutes around 10 a.m. on an August Saturday morning. What are my chances of making my Delta flight with checked luggage? Without checked luggage? Thank you!
Without checked luggage you should have just enough time. With checked luggage it would be very difficult.
I will be traveling from Boston to Detroit through Jetblue. My question is my transit time is 2 hours. Will that be enough?
Where are you flying into Boston from?
Actually I will be traveling from Dhaka to Detroit. From Dhaka, I will first arrive at Dubai airport..Then from Dubai to Boston and finally from Boston to Detroit. In Boston the transit time is 2hr. Will that be enough? Will my baggage be checked again at Boston airport?
If everything is on the same reservation, in Boston, you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go to Terminal C, go through security and to your departure gate.
I will travel from qatar to orlando throught qatar airwaya then i have to departure by jet blue operated by qatar airways and I have transit in Boston airport 3.15 hour .I want know if I have to received my luggage and recheck again or the luggage will transfare direct for the other flight ? Thanks.
Yes, in Boston you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go to terminal C, go through security and to your departure gate. You should have enough time.
