I land at Terminal B with my baby and need to transfer with bags and stroller to Terminal E. Is there an in airport service that can help me with all my luggage to get to Terminal E? Or do I have to take a shuttle?

There's no service. You can either walk or take the shuttle.

  • Connection from UAL to Cape Air, Term. B to C.

Am headed to Martha's Vineyard but arriving into term B on United and CapeAir is in C. No checked luggage. Can I get from one terminal to another WITHOUT exiting and re-entering through security? I can't find any in-terminal shuttle buses on the maps, and so I'm wondering if I need a lot to time or not really. Thanks. -marc

There are inter-terminal busses but it is not hard to walk from Terminal B to C. you cannot make the transfer inside security. You will have to go through security in Terminal C.

  • Flying From Ponta Delgada, Azores to San Francisco through Boston Loga

I'm traveling from Ponta Delgada to SFO through Boston Logan International. I arrive in Boston at 16.45 and leave for SFO at 18.59. I purchased the two flights together in the same ticket. Do you think it's enough time to change from terminal E to B? Is it easier to walk or to use the bus? Thank you!

From E to B the walk and the bus would probably be similar. It should be enough time.

Arriving BOS at 7:16 AM and need to catch a PenAir flight at 9:55 AM. Should we take shuttle or walk with luggage?

I would probably walk unless the weather is bad. You have enough time to do either.

We are flying from LaGuardia NYC to Amsterdam via Boston with Delta. Delta have just changed the time of the flight out of BOS which means we now only have 46mins to make the connection. I have emailed Delta who inform me that the minimum transfer time required is 60 mins yet Expedia who I booked through say 30 minutes is the minimum required so will not change my flight to an earlier one out of NYC without me paying extra. All tickets were bought together and we will have checked baggage. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks

It is possible. All you have to do in Boston is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

On the day of your trip you could try to stand by for an earlier flight from LGA to Boston since they run every hour.

Thanks that's reassured me and I will take your advice re the standby

I have a really tight connection coming in from Paris on WOW airlines. Can I make it to my Delta flight in 60 minutes?

No, you have absolutely no chance of making that. YOu need at least 2 hours for your transfer.

Even if we just have carry-on bags?

Then maybe if the WOW flight is early and you check in for your Delta flight online and you run you could maybe make it. You have to go through US Immigration and Customs, change terminals, and go through security. That's pretty difficult to do in an hour.

Thank you! We will hope for the best, do carry-on only, check in on-line with Delta, and RUN! I appreciate your help!

Hello, I will be flying from London (wow airlines)into Term E at 4:30 pm friday dec 18, i have a connecting flight in Term A(Southwest airlines) at 7:25 pm. tickets bought separately on two different airlines. That should be enough time if your Wow flight is on-time.

  • DL Terminal A to AZ Terminal E

My family and I have an upcoming connection of 59 mins from DL arriving Term A and departing AZ in Term E. Is the walkway from A to E behind security, or do we need to go through security in Term E? I would appreciate anyone with experience telling me about that walk. We have a 5-yr-old and prefer to avoid airport surprises. :) thanks.

There is no connection between any of the terminals at BOS inside security. You will have to go through security in Terminal E. You can make your connection but only if your DL flight is on-time or preferably early and you hurry.

  • Lufthansa to Air Canada

My Lufthansa flight from FRA arrives at 2.35pm and I have a connection with Air Canada to Montreal at 5.30pm. Both flights are booked on the same itinerary. Do I have to receive my luggage and go with it through customs in Boston or at my final destination in Montreal? Do I have to go through immigration in BOS even when I'm only passing through to Montreal?

Yes, in Boston you will arrive in Terminal E, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then walk or take the shuttle to Terminal B and go through security and to your departure gate. You will go through Canadian Immigration and Customs in Montreal. If you are an EU citizen you need to complete ESTA before your trip.

Our friends are arriving in Terminal B and we are arriving in Terminal. Where can we meet them. We have a rental car and going into Boston

You could meet at the rental car facility. You didn't post what terminal you are arriving in so it's kind of hard to help you.

My mother is traveling from HYD to PHL She arrives at BOS Terminal E with Emirates at 14:15. then she has to catch Jet Blue to PHL departing Terminal C at 18:48. Both tickets are purchased on same itenary. I have TWO questions- Is that enough time? and does she have take the baggage to domestic terminal to be checked in again. thank you

Yes, that should be plenty of time, and no, she doesn't have to transfer her bags between terminals her self. Her bags will be tagged through to PHL by Emirates in Hyderabad and in Boston she will go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, then re-check her bags on the re-check belt right after the exit of customs, then go to JetBlue's terminal and go through security.

    Thank you!!

  • Southwest to Turkish

I'll have 85 minutes to connect on separate tickets?

You will have to hope your Southwest flight is on-time and your bags come out quickly and hurry to the Turkish counter in terminal E. You will have to be at the Turkish counter 60 minutes before your flight. I would try to get an earlier flight to Boston if possible.

My daughters arriving on a very delayed Aer Lingus flight at terminal E in Boston at 5:50pm. Their Alaska flight leaves from C41 at 6:55pm. They went through US preclearance in Dublin and have no checked bags. Do they have a prayer of making it? Flights were booked separately. Any advice?

Yes, they have a chance of making it if they are already checked in for their Alaska flight. Although I realize that 6:55 eastern was almost 3 hours ago.

  • Arriving JetBlue from California then taking Air Canada to Toronto

Arriving BOS 8:28 pm with one checked bag, then taking Air Canada at 11:00 am to Toronto. Will I have enough time to get luggage, get to next Terminal, check in luggage again...where is customs done at BOS or Pearson upon arrival. Getting worried.

I meant 8:28 am not PM.

That should be barely enough time if your JetBlue flight is on-time. You will go through Canadian Immigration and Customs when you get to Toronto.

Thank you! I will do my best to make it. Appreciate the response.

That should be barely enough time if your Emirates flight is on-time.
