  • Time to make connecting flight?
    Apr 20, 2016
I come in to BOS from Iceland at 5:40PM, likely to Terminal E. Looking at likelihood of making a 7:45Pm flight from BOS to ATL on Delta (terminal A I believe). Is this feasible??

That might be barely possible without checked bags. With checked bags I don't think you could make it.

  • 45 minute transfer for international flgiht
    Apr 18, 2016
About to book a flight from Atlanta to BOS with KLM (under Delta) arriving at 10pm in terminal A - KLM Flight 4700. Will need to transfer to Terminal E for a 10:45 flight to Rome under KLM but operated by Alitalia - Flight 2745. IS this even possible? Will our luggage even make it? We will be flying first class if that makes a difference. Don't want to book if this is not even possible. But that is what they offered me.

This is very difficult. However, if you are flying Business lass on Alitalia you will have priority security again going through security in Terminal E. However, I really wouldn't recommend this connection.

  • arriving terminal E connecting terminal C
    Apr 15, 2016
I'm arriving international into Terminal E. I have 1:30 hours between flights and need to go through immigration before going onto my connecting in Terminal C. Do you think I'll have enough time. I'll only have hand luggage with me. Thank you

With only hand luggage this is possible, but leaves no time to spare if there are any delays.

  • Enough time for connection on 2 different reservations?
    Apr 15, 2016
This my first time trying to make a connection with two different flights, one domestic and one international. Flight one is from Denver to Boston. We are scheduled to leave DIA at 10:40 and arrive at BOS at 4:45 PM, though we've just learned that the president will be in Colorado that same day we are expected to leave. Not sure if that will cause delays. Our second flight is international through Icelandair. We are scheduled to fly from Boston to Keflavik (Iceland) at 8:45PM. My question is...will we have enough time from when we land (hopefully no later than 5:30PM, even with a possible delay), to collect our bags from baggage claim and get to the proper terminal in time for our second (international) flight leaving at 8:45PM? Thanks!

Yes, that should be enough time.

  • 1 hour 50 min stopover- Toronto (AC) to BOS to Tokyo (JAL)
    Apr 15, 2016
I have 1h and 50 min transfer at Boston with 2 checked luggages. I'm going from Toronto (air canada) to Boston to Tokyo(JAL). Will I be okay and will my luggage make it with me to Tokyo?

Are both tickets on the same reservation or two separate reservations?

It is on the same reservation/itinerary.

Then yes, you should have enough time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do is go to Terminal E and go through security. You may also have to stop at the gate to have JAL reissue your boarding pass.

  • Connecting in boston
    Apr 12, 2016
I am flying in to terminal c with jet blue from Newark catching elal to Tlv at terminal e. The airline is giving me two hours between flights. Is that enough? I am traveling with luggage.

If both tickets were purchased on the same reservation that should be enough time.

  • connection time 2 hours 45 minutes
    Apr 12, 2016
I'm flying from Dubai to Boston, Boston to Tampa Correction time 2 hours 45 minutes Is this suction to catch my JetBlue flight to Tampa

It should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

  • Flying in from Iceland on WOW airlines then need to catch SW flight
    Apr 10, 2016
Is 2 hours enough time? Flying back to the states from Iceland on WOW airlines, then need to catch a flight to Houston on Southwest flight. What do you think?

2 hours is just enough time if everything goes perfectly. It will be a lot easier if you don't have checked bags.

  • San Diego to Philadelphia, 45 min layover in Boston enough time?
    Apr 5, 2016
Two options for red eye. First option with a 45 min layover or second option with a 2+hour layover. Seasoned international traveler and would usually never take short connections, but since it's JetBlue and no baggage, not sure if 45 minutes is enough time or not.

Yes, it should be enough time. If you miss it because of a delay, it's not too big of a deal, they put you on the later flight to PHL.

  • 1h35 Layover enough?
    Apr 4, 2016
I am traveling from Montreal(AC8458)-Tokyo(JL7) with a 1h35 layover in Boston. All booked on the same ticket. Is this enough time to make my flight to Tokyo, and will my luggage be checked through?

That's barely enough time if your flight from Montreal is on-time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Montreal. In Boston you have to change terminals to Terminal E and go through security. Your bags will be transferred for you.

  • Jet blue to Norwegian airlines in 1 hour, carry on only?
    Apr 2, 2016
Concerned if I will make the Norwegian flight with only a 1 hour layover. Thoughts?

With checked bags that would be impossible. Even without checked bags that will be practically impossible as you will have to go through security again to get to your Norwegian gate.

Thanks. That's what I expected to hear. I will keep searching for an alternate.

  • Terminal Connections
    Apr 2, 2016
What is the best way to get to Terminal A from Terminal B, and vice versa. Flying into Boston on American, heading up to Halifax, Nova Scotia on Delta. How much time should I allow?

The best way is to walk. Without checked bags you need 2 hours, With checked bags I recommend 3 hours. Note that the flight to Halifax will be operated by Westjet Encore, not Delta.

Thank you for your response. My tour company booked me with Delta from Boston to Halifax, so I canceled out with American, and found a Delta flight up to Boston. Now I don't have to change terminals!

  • EMIRATES flight EK237
    Mar 29, 2016
I am traveling via EMIRATES flight EK237 which is operated by Jet Blue. I have 5 hrs lay over. I am traveling for the 1st time with immigration visa. I have to travel further from Boston to Newark via EMIRATES flight EK6033. Do I have enough time to make connection? How do I go to terminal E to terminal C? Where do I check back baggage? Thanks VM

You have the operating carriers reversed. Flight 273 is operated by Emirates and 6033 is operated by JetBlue. You can re-check your bags immediately after clearing customs in Terminal E. The fastest way to Terminal C is to walk. You have plenty of time.

  • 4:40 hour layover terminal A to E
    Mar 29, 2016
Arriving in terminal A with 4:40 hours until departure terminal E. Want to meet some family who will come to the airport during the layover is there enough time and what is the best way to do this?

Yes, that is enough time. Just meet them outside security in Terminal A.
