Hi - im arriving terminal C at 19:50 from Fort Lauderdale on jet blue and have an international flight to Dubai on Emirates at 22:20 in terminal C.
Will i have time to catch my international flight? and what about my checked bags, will i need to pick them up at Boston terminal C and drop them again ?
Note: its 1 ticket, so bags will be tagged DXB from Ft Lauderdale
You do not have to claim your bags in Boston. All you have to do there is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have plenty of time.
Flying from Toronto to Boston for a layover to Tokyo. I have 1hr and 5 mins. One checked bag. Getting off from Air Canada and going to JAL. Will I have enough time?
You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly and everything is on the same reservation. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto but will have to go to Terminal E and go through security in Boston. If this is two separate reservations you do not have enough time.
Thanks for the reply. I appreciate the work you do here!
I have a flight coming into Boston from Indianapolis at 8:40am and our connecting flight to JFK leaves at 9am Will we have enough time to make our connection?
What airlines are you flying?
Delta
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
Hi,
I'm looking at an international AirFrance flight that lands at 7:48 pm in Terminal E. I would then need to clear customs in time to get to my 9:23 pm JetBlue flight in Terminal C. I realize this sounds pretty tight. Will I most likely be able to clear customs in time to make it to my next flight, or should I think about taking a different flight?
Oh, I remembered that the AirFrance flight might actually be operating through Delta, if that makes any difference.
Both would arrive in Terminal E since only Terminal E has immigration facilities. With checked bags that wouldn't be possible. Without checked bags that would be difficult, but not impossible.
Okay, thank you! I'all definitely have a checked bag, so I'll try looking at another flight.
Arriving from Orlando to term A at 6:45pm for Paris at 8pm from term E, all booking with Airfrance one reservation, is that enough transit time?
Note that if the flight to Paris is operated by Delta then it will also depart from Terminal A. If the flight to Paris is operated by Air France from Terminal E you have just enough time.
Many thanks. Checked with reservation and spoke with Airfrance personnel and was told that baggage should be checked in through to final destination and have enough time though.
I have a 39 minute connection on Delta, arriving in Boston from Raleigh, connecting to a Boston-Amsterdam flight. A bit nervous about this but the price is awesome. Thoughts?
Yes, that's possible. It obviously doesn't leave any time to spare if the Raleigh flight is delayed.
I will arrive at 8:00 p.m from Philadelphia by America Airlines and I am trying to get a flight to NYC at 8:30 p.m by United Airlines. I have no baggage to pick. Is there enough time? Do I need to print the second plane ticket at Philadelphia in advance? Thanks!
You can check in online for your United flight before you leave Philadelphia. All gates in B are now connected inside security, so you can make this connection as long as your flight from Philadelphia is on-time and you hurry across the terminal to the United gates.
Actually if you arrive at B Gates 1-3 you have to go through security to get to the other B Gates.
Yes, but American doesn't use B1-3
Hi, I am Canadian, landing at terminal B from Toronto at 7:45pm. Baggage checked in at Toronto. Departing from Terminal C at 9:30pm. This is 1 return ticket. Will I need to go through security, pick up bags and recheck in? Also what is access from B to C? Does my layover give me enough time? Your help much appreciated, Cheers!
Sorry forgot to add, departing to Dublin from Terminal C
You won't have to do anything with your bags if everything is on the same reservation. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do is go to Terminal C and through security. You have enough time.
Awesome, your speedy reply is much appreciated!
When does British Airways check-in desk open for passengers today?
If I arrive from Lisbon (TAP) at 5.55pm and depart for Halifax, NS, Canada (Air Canada) at 7.15pm, will I have enough time to make the connection? Do I have to clear immigration, pick up bags, clear customs, deposit bags in BOS if I am just in transit through the airport to another country?
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, change terminals and go through security. That is a very difficult connection. It's not impossible, but extremely difficult.
Arrive from Manchester, UK on Thomas Cook flight arriving at 15:10, terminal E. Then planning on taking a separately booked Jet Blue flight to New York from Terminal C. I have the choice of either 17:20 or 19:35 - would 17:20 be cutting it fine?
With checked bags the 17:20 flight would be tough.
