Hey i arrive from CLE TO BOS At 20:37 and my flight to dubai on fly emirates at 22:20, do i have to recheck my bags? My whole trip is booked through Emirates flights! Will i have enough time?

If everything was booked together through Emirates then all you have to do in Boston is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have plenty of time.

That's pretty awesome thanks!! Yeah the whole trip is booked via emirates, the operating flight from cle to bos is jetblue

Yes, both airlines use Terminal C in Boston.

Arriving from TLV on El Al @ 5:30am Terminal E. Taking the 7:16am flight on Jetblue in Terminal C from BOS to SAN. Entire itinerary is a codeshare booked through El Al so I presume my checked luggage will go all the way through (Am I wrong?) Will I have enough time to clear customs / passport control. Flying on a US Passport. I have no perks (no TSA pre-check nor global entry nor status of any kind with either airline)

In Boston you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your luggage, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go to Terminal C (either walk or take the shuttle) and then go through security and to your departure gate. You should have enough time.

Hi, I will be arriving from Toronto to Boston at 10:04 AM terminal B via Air Canada (would had cleared customs in Canada). Then I have a connecting flight to Dubai via Emirates in terminal C that departs at 11:55 AM. I am assuming I will need to get luggage from arrival and recheck for departure. Will this time between flights suffice (1 hr 50 mins). Is there another security screen to go through for departure flight from Terminal C?

Yes, you will have to go through security again in Terminal C. You should have barely enough time.

Flying from Lisbon to Boston on SATA - arrive at 7pm. Is there enough time to connect to get to a Spirit flight departing at 9:05pm. No checked bags & US Passport - assuming the SATA flight arrives on time.

With no checked bags this is possible. But betting on SATA to be on-time is not a bet I would make.

  • Traveling from CLT to Iceland through Boston
    Feb 3, 2016
My family will be flying from Charlotte to Reykjavik through Boston. We land in terminal C at 8 pm and our flight to Iceland leaves at 9:30 pm in terminal E. I am unsure if we are able to print our boarding passes to Iceland ahead of arrival in Boston. I am worried about the time and also transportation to Terminal E. Any advice? I will have my husband, father and two young daughters with me too!

Will you have checked bags? I don't think you can make that connection with checked bags. The fastest way from C to E is to walk.

  • Travelling on Emirates and connecting on American airline

I arrive on Emirates from Dubai at 8:00am in Terminal E with checked luggage. What is the minimum time that I need to make it pass customs and connect on to American airlines? 3 hrs?

Yes, I would recommend 3 hours.

I am arriving on SWISS on 3:20pm and have a connection on UNITED to IAD on 7:15 pm (Booked separately, carry-on only). Should be no problem, right? Thanks

Yes, that should be pretty easy.

  • Connecting flight for domestic trip

I arrive at BOS at 7:23am on a JetBlue flight that lands in Terminal B. Need to make a connecting JetBlue flight in Terminal C that departs at 8:00am. I have no checked bags. Will I be able to make it, and if not, what are ways I can plan ahead or work with my airline to make sure I don't miss the connection?

All JetBlue flights use Terminal C. Why do you think you are arriving in Terminal B?

Mistakenly read my itinerary -- just confirmed with JetBlue that they're arriving and departing all in Terminal C. Should be easy to connect that way, right? Pending flights are all on time, of course.

p.s. Thank you for your help! Sorry about the confusion.

  • Fly in international, fly out domestic

Hi, If I am landing in BOS from Sydney via Los Angeles on Delta, lading at 6:12pm, will I be able to make the separately purchased JetBlue flight to New York, departing at 7:45pm?

Please note that you will actually be arriving in Boston on a domestic flight. Your International Arrival will be in Los Angeles. If you have checked baggage it will be quite difficult as you will have to claim your bags from Delta and re-check them with JetBlue then go through security. It will be doable if you don't have checked bags as long as your Delta flight is on-time.

Yeah, I have checked in luggage for both flights. Even so, I would've thought that 1.5 hours should be enough for me to claim my bag once I land, and still be able to check into the JetBlue flight with 40 minutes to go. What do you think?

Yes it's possible with checked baggage but leaves no time to spare if your Delta flight is delayed.

If I am arriving on a flight via Norwegian airlines from London at 7:05 pm and my connecting flight leaves via jet blue airlines at 8:50 will I have enough time to go through customs and make my connecting flight? I do not have any checked baggage.

With no checked bags that should be possible if you check in online for your Jetblue flight before you leave London and your Norwegian flight arrives on-time.

I am arriving in BOS on United connecting to Aer Lingus flight to Ireland. My understanding is that I will catch shuttle to TE and will go through security but will not have to recheck bags since both legs are on 1 ticket. Do I check in at the Aer Lingus desk and receive boarding pass? Thanks so much

United should be able to issue both of your boarding passes, so all you should have to do is go to TE and through security.

  • B to E
    Jan 19, 2016
Arriving in Terminal B on United at 0015, departure on Cathay to Hong Kong at 0130 from Terminal E. No checked bags. Non-US passport holder. Will I make it? Do I need to re-check in for the CX flight?

If you are on two separate reservations then you will have to check in again for your Cathay flight. You should have barely enough time if your United flight is on-time.

  • Terminal C Question
    Jan 19, 2016
Does the Terminal C Gates 40-42 checkpoint have TSA Pre-Check? This will be the first time I've departed from those gates.

No, it doesn't. Those gates apparently suck. Get there earlier than you normally would. There's also only a very small Hudson News once you get through security.

If I am arriving to BOS via Spirit airlines (terminal B) at 8:28pm and need to catch a flight on Norwegian Airlines (terminal E) at 9:30pm will I have enough time?

If you have checked baggage you have zero chance of making that connection. Without checked baggage it's marginally possible if you are able to check in online for your Norwegian flight before you leave on your Spirit flight.

  • Flight from LHR to Indianapolis
    Jan 13, 2016
Hi, I'm planning on flying from London Heathrow to Indianapolis on Thursday 28 January. A flight with Delta arrives into Boston from LHR at 12:28 and there is a connecting flight to Indianopolis at 14:48. Is this enough time for me to change flights and recheck all my luggage? Also, what would happen if my flight into Boston was delayed and I missed the connecting flight to Indianopolis? Thanks

Are both flights on the same reservation with Delta? If so that should be enough time. If everything is booked together and you missed your connection you would be rebooked to Indianapolis on other Delta flights. There is a 9:18 PM nonstop flight to IND or they could rebook you through New York, Atlanta, or Detroit to Indianapolis.
