Howdy! Flying from DUB -> BOS -> SEA, connecting from Air Lingus to Jet Blue all in Terminal C. I have only a 1:05 layover in BOS, and I understand I can pre-clear US customs in DUB. I'm thinking the 1:05 is enough time to make the transfer (barring any unforeseen delays). Any thoughts or experiences that could be shared are greatly appreciated!
Yes, that is enough time as long as the flight from Dublin is on-time.
Thanks, ZAP!
Hello, I will travel with Delta from Guatemala to Atlanta and then to Boston with flight DL2100. In Boston I have the Delta connection to Rome after 1h 5 m. Is it enough time? Do I have to check in again my luggage?
Thank you
You won't have to do anything with your bags in Boston, but as the flight to Rome will be operated by Alitalia, you have to go from Terminal A to Terminal E and through security. That's a difficult connection but not impossible.
Hi, my family and I are traveling from Boston on two different flights one on Alaska one on Delta. I was wondering if you can get from terminal C to terminal A without having to go through security more than once.
You will have to go through security when you get to Terminal A. That's once.
I am traveling to Shannon, Ireland and connecting through Boston. I am into Boston on American Airlines and out of Boston on Aer Lingus. AA and EI do not partner on miles but will AA be able to tag my bag all the way through to Shannon or will I have to claim in Boston and recheck in with Aer Lingus?
If it's one reservation then your bag will be tagged through. If it's two separate reservations then you will have to claim your bags from AA in Terminal B, take them to Terminal C, and re-check them with Aer Lingus and go through security.
If on schedule, I will arrive Boston at 5:35 pm from Iceland March 22, 2017 flying WOW airlines. My connecting flight to Raleigh, NC will be at 8:45 pm flying JetBlue. I will have 1 checked bag. 1--Will I have enough time? 2--Do I have to go thru security again? 3--Can I check my 1 bag in Iceland (WOW) all the way thru to Raleigh flying JetBlue?
You will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bag, go through US Customs, walk to the JetBlue Check-in Desk in Terminal C, re-check your bag with JetBlue, and go through security. WOW does not interline baggage to other airlines.
Thank you for your reply. Do you think 3 hours is enough time for all that? Thanks again.
Yes, if the WOW flight is on-time (which they are often not).
Hello there!
Greetings to all of you. I am flying from Orlando to Boston on Delta in First, arriving in Boston at 18:45 in Terminal A, and connecting onto Qatar Airways in Business Class to Mumbai at 22:10 in Terminal E. These are both on two separate itineraries. Do you guys think I can make the connection?
Thanks
Yes, I think that you will have enough time. You should be in Terminal E with your bags at the Qatar desk by 19:30.
Perfect,
Thank You, ZAP! I've connected in JFK, ORD etc. but never in BOS, so I was skeptical whether I could make it or not.
Is 50 minutes enough connection time arriving Term A from Detroit, to Term E to Rome. I will have one checked bag. I can walk fast.
That's just enough time if your bags are checked through to Rome and you run.
Hello, I am landing with Wesjet from Toronto (pre cleared immigration) and connecting to Emirates. The transit time is approx 2 hours. Is this enough time? Will I need to collect baggage even though I have already pre-cleared customs/immigration in Toronto for the USA. How long is the shuttle or train to the other Terminal? My entire booking is on one reservation and one ticket.
You arrive in Terminal A and depart from Terminal C. You have to take a shuttle or walk which takes about 15 minutes. You will then have to go through security in Terminal C.
JetBlue says they have agreement w sata and can check bags thru avoiding going thru security again if sata also can check thru on the way home? We fly home from terceira to bos landing at 14:55 and have 6:23 to D.C. Is it reciprocal if JetBlue could do it coming here and can you verify terminal is the same (both listed as in terminal e). Thanks!!
Bags can be tagged through on the way back to the US But you still have to claim your bags to go through US Customs in Boston. Azores uses Terminal E and JetBlue uses Treminal C which are adjacent to each other.
I will arrive on Aer Lingus (Pre-Clear) and have a connecting flight with United. So can I connect Term C to Term B airside or will I have to re-entre security in Term B? Thanks
You will have to go through security again in B. B and C aren't connected inside security.
Thanks for responding quickly
