Hi, I am arriving alone at Logan through Emirates with an infant and a 4 year old. Is it possible for my husband to meet us at the baggage arrival so he can help me with the suitcases and I can carry the pram?

No, that is not possible. Visitors are not allowed in the International baggage claim.

  • Transfer assistance with bags

I am arriving on Jet Blue (terminal C) and transferring to British Airways (terminal E) on March 31. I know that I will have to collect my bags in terminal C and make my way to terminal E to check in with BA. However, due to recent cancer surgery I am unable to lift my bags. I have asked both Jet Blue and British Airways for assistance, and both airlines have said they are unable to help me. I'm beginning to think I might have to offer a huge tip to a random stranger to help me get my bags from terminal C to E. Is there anything else you could recommend?

One clarification--these are two separate reservations, not on the same ticket.

  • Advice on connecting time

I am arriving at 4:25 pm with Southwest (DFW - BWI - BOS) and connecting to TAP Portugal for Lisbon at 6:20 pm. I need to recheck my luggage. Is this doable?

That's barely possible if the Southwest flight is on-time and you hurry over to Terminal E to re-check your bags. Also, be aware that your Southwest flight will depart from Dallas Love Field, not DFW.

I have a connecting flight to Boston going to Qatar from Charlotte. Is 1:45 minutes enough time for me to transfer from JetBlue terminal to Qatar terminal? Also will I still need to check in when I arrive in Boston and not needed since this is a connecting flight not 2 separate tickets? Thank you in advance.

You should be checked in for both flights in Charlotte. All you should have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.

  • Going through customs from Guadeloupe

Hi, we're coming in on a flight from Guadeloupe with no checked bags on a Thursday at 1140am. We have a connecting flight at 155pm (so, 2h15m layover). Is that enough time to make it through customs and make our connecting flight?

Sorry, forgot to mention that we are flying Norwegian Air.

With no checked bags that's just enough time if the Norwegian flight is on-time.

  • Layover Luggage For International Flight

My husband and I plan to travel to the Azores Islands in April. Our flight from Raleigh NC to Boston will be with JetBlue. Then we'll have a 10 hour layover before the international flight with another airline and tickets purchased separately. Will we have to claim our bags in Boston and have them checked again for the second flight? And if so, can we have them checked immediately for the international flight, so we can do a little sightseeing in Boston?

Yes, you will have to claim your bags in Boston and re-check them once the Azores Airlines check in desk opens that evening. You will have to take your bags with you if you want to leave the airport.

Thank you for such a quick response! I appreciate your assistance!

  • Connection between Terminal E and B
    Jan 4, 2017

Hi, I have an international flight arriving at 6:50pm to Terminal E and I need to make it to another flight departing from Terminal B at 8pm. I don't nedd to check any bags but the problem is I need to go through U.S. border and security control before leaving Terminal E. Do I have time to make it? Any reccomendation to go from Terminal E to Terminal B?

If you are able to check in online for your flight out of Terminal B you have JUST enough time if everything goes perfectly. What airlines are you flying?

I am arriving at Terminal E with Norwegian and departing from Terminal B with American Airlines. I checked and it is supposed to be B18 or B19.

I think that will be really difficult as Norwegian flights aren't really known for being on-time. I would plan on spending the night in Boston.

I already booked my flight with American Airlines. Do you know any alternative not to lose the money spent on the ticket in case I can't make it on time? Thank you.

  • Enough time?

I'm flying later this month from LHR-BOS-CVG with Delta. I arrive at BOS terminal E at 12:19 and I have a 1 hour 40 minute layover to catch my connecting flight to CVG (also with Delta) from terminal A. I'm an international traveler from the U.K. & In this time I have to traverse security and customs and get to my connecting flight- any experienced fliers think I should request a change to a later connecting flight or should that be enough time? Thanks

Yes, that should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

  • Connecting Boston to NYC

Good Morning, I am landing in Boston from a flight originating in Malta with a layover in Munich. The the landing time is 6:35pm. I need t o make it home to NYC that night. I see I can book a flight at 7:25pm. Would I be able to clear customs and gather my luggage, as well as re-check it in that time? I know in NYC that wouldn't work, but i'm hoping maybe Boston it will work.

That would be impossible. The last flight from Boston to NYC appears to depart at 8:17 PM (on Jetblue) which would be barely possible if everything went perfectly.

I'm traveling from Reykjavik (WOW airlines) to Boston, and then from Boston (Delta airlines) to Atlanta and I was wondering if 2 hours is enough time to go thru customs, security, etc. ?

The WOW and Delta flights are on different reservations.

I am travelling from pakistan to detroit via dubai and boston at terminal E thtu Emirates,i was concerned that my last flight from boston to detroit is thru jetblue ,so do i need to claim baggage and will thr be any assistance in this regard.

In Boston, if everything is on the same reservation, you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go to Terminal C, through security and to your departure gate.

Thankx for the prompt reply,ya its on the same reservation Since its my 1st time and i know i cant carry so much weight on my own ,i was worried that With two chked in bags nd handcarry it would be difficult for me to move the trolley all the way from immgration an all then to terminal C from terminal E So are thr porters thr to provide the passengers with assistance

You don't have to take your bags with you all the way to Terminal C. You can re-check them at a desk right after you clear Customs in Terminal E.

I'll have 45 mins to transer from an incoming flight from RDU to an outgoing to LHR. Is that enough time?

What airlines? Are both tickets on the same reservation? I can't answer your question without that information.

Sorry for the lack of detail. It would be with Virgin, coming into BOS from RDU on VS4204 then departing BOS to LHR on VS4012. All on one booking so I won't be going thru costoms but will probably need to clear security again. Thanks.

There is no US Customs when leaving the US. Both flights are on Delta. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal A. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.

I arrive in BOS at 1;30pm from YHZ(Canadian) have to pick up bags and be processed through customs. I catch a connecting flight to DFW at 3:50pm, is this doable? what can I do to make everything run smoothly?

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Halifax. What airlines are you flying and are your flights on the same reservation or two separate reservations?
