Hi, I am arriving alone at Logan through Emirates with an infant and a 4 year old. Is it possible for my husband to meet us at the baggage arrival so he can help me with the suitcases and I can carry the pram?
No, that is not possible. Visitors are not allowed in the International baggage claim.
I am a first time international flyer, also travelling alone.I will fly from India to Boston via dubai (emirates) and Boston to detroit (jet blue)..all in one ticket/booking. I get only 2 hours for the next detroit flight Is that enough for customs clearance and check in?please help.I am travelling on April 1.I ll have 2 checked in luggage. Pls explain the procedure
I am arriving on Jet Blue (terminal C) and transferring to British Airways (terminal E) on March 31. I know that I will have to collect my bags in terminal C and make my way to terminal E to check in with BA. However, due to recent cancer surgery I am unable to lift my bags. I have asked both Jet Blue and British Airways for assistance, and both airlines have said they are unable to help me. I'm beginning to think I might have to offer a huge tip to a random stranger to help me get my bags from terminal C to E. Is there anything else you could recommend?
One clarification--these are two separate reservations, not on the same ticket.
I have a connecting flight to Boston going to Qatar from Charlotte. Is 1:45 minutes enough time for me to transfer from JetBlue terminal to Qatar terminal? Also will I still need to check in when I arrive in Boston and not needed since this is a connecting flight not 2 separate tickets? Thank you in advance.
You should be checked in for both flights in Charlotte. All you should have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Hi, we're coming in on a flight from Guadeloupe with no checked bags on a Thursday at 1140am. We have a connecting flight at 155pm (so, 2h15m layover). Is that enough time to make it through customs and make our connecting flight?
Sorry, forgot to mention that we are flying Norwegian Air.
With no checked bags that's just enough time if the Norwegian flight is on-time.
My husband and I plan to travel to the Azores Islands in April. Our flight from Raleigh NC to Boston will be with JetBlue. Then we'll have a 10 hour layover before the international flight with another airline and tickets purchased separately. Will we have to claim our bags in Boston and have them checked again for the second flight? And if so, can we have them checked immediately for the international flight, so we can do a little sightseeing in Boston?
Yes, you will have to claim your bags in Boston and re-check them once the Azores Airlines check in desk opens that evening. You will have to take your bags with you if you want to leave the airport.
Thank you for such a quick response! I appreciate your assistance!
Hi, I have an international flight arriving at 6:50pm to Terminal E and I need to make it to another flight departing from Terminal B at 8pm. I don't nedd to check any bags but the problem is I need to go through U.S. border and security control before leaving Terminal E. Do I have time to make it? Any reccomendation to go from Terminal E to Terminal B?
If you are able to check in online for your flight out of Terminal B you have JUST enough time if everything goes perfectly. What airlines are you flying?
I am arriving at Terminal E with Norwegian and departing from Terminal B with American Airlines. I checked and it is supposed to be B18 or B19.
I think that will be really difficult as Norwegian flights aren't really known for being on-time. I would plan on spending the night in Boston.
I already booked my flight with American Airlines. Do you know any alternative not to lose the money spent on the ticket in case I can't make it on time?
