Please correct your information about the daily charge for Handicapped Parking. Based on your listed price of $11/day, I parked for 18 days with my placard displayed in a designated space. However, rather than paying the expected $198, I was charged $306 instead!! Apparently since October, LGB Airport now charges the regular fee of $19 or $17 with no discount for handicapped parking.
TRY A SHUTTLE SERVICE TO AIRPORT FROM YOUR RESIDENCE OR A BUSINESS ADDRESS, or vice versa FROM AIRPORT TO YOUR or A RESIDENCE or A BUSINESS ADDRESS. THIS CAN SAVE YOU MONEY. there are some listed on iFLY.COM CHECK IT OUT ! ! ! Especially if your gone an extended length of time, your car can stay at home while your gone. My son does this when he travels
ON MY ORIGINAL COMMENT ABOVE, I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR THIS SERVICE A DAY TO SEVERAL DAYS IN ADVANCE TO YOUR TRAVEL DAY OR DATE, it is on iFLY.COM ( UNDER: GROUND TRANSPORTATION IS A LIST OF SHUTTLE SERVICES IN EACH CITY IN OR CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT IN WHICH YOUR TRAVELING TO OR FROM) IT REALLY CAN SAVE YOU MONEY ! ! !
Sure glad JB moved flight to Ft. Lauderdale to LAX. Just returned from 2 week trip. Taking the FLYAWAY bus for $14 RT from Van Nuys saved over $220 vs. parking at LGB>
Through globalairportparking.com you can sign up via reservations at nearby hotels to park your car. I figured it's $25 cheaper than the airport for my 7 days. Free shuttle.
checked out the website. only needing to park friday afternoon til sunday night. thought I'd be saving a little, but the taxes made up the difference. haha. good alternative to parking at the airport if you're parking for extended trips i suppose, but not for short weekend trips like mine.
The Holiday Inn offers a "Park & Fly" Option which is 1 hotel night with up to 14 days of free parking. If the 1st night is booked on SU-TH it is $189 + taxes, and if the first night is FR or SAT, it is approx $149. + Taxes. Extended Stay and Marriot refuse to permit parking at any price
Just checked their prices for a Monday night stay, it is now 199.00 for one night up to 14 days free parking. Paying 140 at the airport is a little cheaper but no night at the hotel and free breakfast, but also faster getting to your car and leaving rather than waiting for a shuttle to pick you up.
We always park at the lot on the right side across from the airport. We drove to it today to check it out cuz we were at AAA. It looked closed. There wasn't one car parked in the lot. Please tell me where the other lots are. Do you offer coupons for the parking structure?
If someone doesn't come up with less expensive long term parking, I'm saying goodbye to LGB. They are out of their minds if they think we will pay rates higher than LAX. I love flying out of there but will now move to LAX or Burbank.
Long Beach airport parking is the most rip off airport - I parked there on May 12th, 2012 and back on may 13th only for one day as it posted on the parking B entrance $17.00 for one day. It was counted by hourly charge after one day (calculated as 24 hrs.) which I was charged total of $22.00 because I parked for 26 and 1/2 hours. What's a rip off. Never ever use that airport parking again.
Very expensive parking!!!!
Rates used to be $8/day in 2007, jumped to $11/day in 2009, and now are $17/day in 2011!!!!
Is this inflation or speculation?!?
Far more expensive than going to LAX and parking in Hilton Valet!
The cell lot is on the corner of Lakewood Blvd. and Wardlow. Coming from the 405 go the light where you would enter the airport and rather than turning left into the airport, turn right. It will be on your left.

The parking is really a non-issue. Look at SNA or LAX. Unless you want to park in Phoenix (and take shuttle buses) LAX is more expensive and SNA is the same. LGB is still far more convenient with shorter security lines, proximity to the parking lot, and boarding speed.

If $30 makes that big of a difference in your travel budget for a four day trip, you probably should stay home.
$84 for 4 days, I'm a senior this is beyond absurd!!!!
The LAX HIlton is 1/2 the price of LGB. When I park for 7 days that's a lot more money. Besides that, it's that we are captives without alternative choice which we have almost everywhere else. We can't even get to LGB using public transportation which is available at LAX and BRB. Stop being so snarky about other people's money you entitled jerk.
